Disgusting food! Ordered tacos meat on the carnitas were full of fat, the beef tacos were drenched in oil, had no taste! The drinks were watered down, the cheese dip tasted like lime juice chips were burnt!
Then there was the waiter Christian  who was a joke! He needs customer service lessons….
I’m sure the dog food here is better then what we were served.

The food was beyond amazing. The service was equally great. Definitely a place to come for Sunday brunch and football.  This will be a staple going forward.

Too much dog hair flying around our food. I understand it’s a man’s best friend and all and I love dogs too, just not in and around my food. I guess it’s the California way though ?

Food was good, service sucked. We wondered why this place was empty while every other place was hoppin. We sat outside on the enclosed patio. The waiter was cordial but seemed like he hated his job. If you wanted a water, you had to get it yourself out of an igloo cooler on the patio. After we ordered drinks, the waiter asked for a credit card for our tab, which we thought was very strange. We were a family of 4, with two kids, it wasn’t like we’re going to dine and dash. At one point the server interrupted us to yell at one of the dogs on the patio who was licking the dirty dish cart. Another time when I asked him for ketchup and mustard, he said yes and walked away before I could even get the mustard part out. When we paid the bill he handed us a handheld device to put in our tip amount and at the top of the device management had printed a label that said “Get a credit card on file, YOUR JOB DEPENDS ON IT.” So we understand why he had to do it, but even more crass that management put those labels on the devices that they make the customers pay their bills on!

We were at Huntington Beach, with our goofy Labradoodle, to enjoy one of Southern California’s best dog beaches.  Afterward, well . . . we were hungry and wanted to meet up with family, along with said Doodle, to enjoy a late lunch.  A place called the “Wet Dog” sounded perfect!

The Wet Dog WAS perfect!  It’s a short walk from the pier and on a street lined with sidewalk café dining.  It’s not fancy, if that’s what you’re looking for, but comfortable, a great place to people watch and it had very friendly staff and customers.  Others had pups with them, as well, and everyone got along great.    Our guy was so exhausted from the beach, that I think he didn’t even have the energy to say hello to folks.

Service at the Wet Dog was prompt and good, but they also encouraged us to linger.  Casual and comfortable.  Cocktails were good.  The menu . . . pretty much burgers, salads, pizza and tacos . . . was just want you want for lunch.  The food was well above average for this kind of place; fresh, tasty, well presented and with decent portions.  We couldn’t have been happier.

It’s a very cool place with good energy. Our waiter was super nice and welcoming My grandma and I took our puppies and enjoyed. Overall food I would give a 3 but giving it a 4 for the good vibes

DO NOT COME HERE. We use to love coming here for drinks and the occasional games, despite the food always being less the mediocre. Some servers were definitely way better than others so it’s a hit or miss. But the reason for the ONE STAR is that one of the bartenders added a 30% tip WITHOUT OUR CONSENT. We certainly were not drunk enough to not notice that after we left, and we will not support shady businesses who do that.

Dukes wasn’t open and every other restaurant along the strip was packed.  We walked by Wet Dog Tavern and the young lady at the podium on the sidewalk lured us in.  We told her to hold that thought as there was Hawaiian food upstairs.  Well upstairs was closed and we went back to Podium girl and she told us to pick a seat.  She brought us paper menus and we looked through it.  I opted for the country-fried steak.  It came with tater tots and did not disappoint.  Our appetizer were warm pretzels and cheese.  Also, very delicious.  Husband got a tropical alcoholic drink and he said it was very good.  Payment was easy, service was quick, and food was delicious.

Such a fun place to bring your pet! The staff was so sweet and warm with my girls! The food was great and the patio was super comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!
