I ordered a miso salad yesterday for pickup. Unfortunately, I didn’t check it before I left the store. I didn’t open it for about 30-45 minutes. I normally really like their salads. I prefer it with the dressing on it or even with it. I’d prefer it with the salad. That’s why I purchased it. I called the store (14 minutes on hold then they hung up). I also sent them an email (no response). My recommendation is if you order a salad with a dressing, make sure you have it.

Wanted to give this place a shot because it’s healthy and right next to Trader Joe’s. After shopping on an empty stomach, hunger took over and my boyfriend and I headed here. I wanted to yeet out of there the second I saw the menu and prices, but it looked healthy, so I gave it a try. The smoothie was okay. The gluten free lemon bar I devoured with my boyfriend before I could get a picture. It was a sugar bomb. Everything tasted good but I think for that price I could make better and more at home.

I can only speak of the food from a take out and delivery perspective but this food, juices and service is great! I saw a few reviews that mentioned food was bland. That is not at all my experience. Perhaps because there is not a lot, if any, added salt it may seem that way to a few but this is fresh food. It’s well prepared and portions are generous. I’ve had the salads, sandwiches and wraps and everything is delicious! I love the cold pressed juices, the green ones are amazing. I have felt a big difference in my health eating from here twice a week and drinking the juices. I’m hooked! It may seem a bit more expensive than fast food but this is quality not unhealthy fats and preservatives. When I have dealt with staff on the phone they are very knowledgeable and courteous. I love this place! -Beverly M

Definitely healthier food, but still on the bland side. Tried The new Classic, was good but lacking flavor.
Chicken bacon avocado, was also good but the chicken did not taste fresh. Sunset bowl is also okay but would preferred fresh strawberries instead of the dried ones.
All in all, not bad and would come back to try more menu items.

Cute spot for a quick bite or hangout with friends! I loved the vibe of this place reminded me of some places I’ve been to in San Diego. I’m from the west coast so this reminded me of home.

WOW. This place is a freakin hidden gem! I have been here a few times and everything they have is spot on, so fresh, all organic and makes you happy inside. I dont truly understand why less people go here than the vegan CAVA place nearly five shops down, but maybe CAVA has just better marketing? Because honestly, ive tried both and Village Juice is cheaper, less calories and  friendlier staff. Dont get me wrong, I love CAVA, but im just saying ppl need to give this place some more lovin’. BEST raw vegan shop around. Seriously if your in town, try this place (and also try Yamas), both are my favs.

I went to the Stratford Rd location today in Winston-Salem, NC to meet a friend for lunch at 1:30 pm.  Unbeknownst to me, another customer spilled her child’s banana slices and some strawberries (she nor any employees cleaned up the mess).  As I did not know it was on the floor, I slipped on the banana slices and landed on the concrete floor right on my right knee, along with twisting my right ankle.  I am 53 years old, no spring chicken.  No one from Village Juice came to my aid-this happened right in front of the cash register.  A gentleman customer came to help me up off the floor.  Still, no one came to assist.  I proceeded to the counter, grabbed some napkins and hobbled over to the mess and covered up the banana skid.  When I returned to the register, the cashier said to me, “Oh, don’t worry about it.”  Needless to say, I about lost my cool at this point and responded, “Excuse me.  That is NOT my mess.  How about asking me if I am okay and if I need anything?”  Her response, “Can I take your order?”  Have I mentioned that I am 53 years old?  I plan to call tomorrow, feeling as thought that will be for naught based on Village Juice’s lack of concern today.  My knee is swollen as is my ankle.  Shame on you Village Juice for displaying such apathy when a customer is injured RIGHT IN FRONT OF ALL THE EMPLOYEES and customers.

BTW:  It took them quite some time to clean up the banana mess and they were not even that busy.  When we left, the strawberries were still on the floor.

My friends and I have always been big fans of this place. It’s a great healthy pick for breakfast or lunch. Their avocado toast is devine and all of their smoothies are amazing. They are vegan friendly. There is hardly any wait and the environment is very pretty with windows, white walls and plants!
