The food we had was pretty bad.
Ordered a prime rib dip and got maybe four oz of old prime rib on a stale roll. The french onion soup was even worse…liptons would have been better than what they served with swiss cheese.
I mean I get it’s the pub side but you would think an old school place like that would haveold school mid century dishes made with some quality.
It was really bad but we had a movie to catch so I ate it and wasn’t poisoned or anything but good heavens, what a disappointment.
At least the server was nice.
My favorite restaurant in the whole world. Food is excellent. Wait staff super friendly. Lounge area top notch legendary Hollywood. Live music always superb. Best veal Marsala anywhere. Valet parking reasonably priced. Ten stars if I could.
When there’s music, it always attract great crowds with greater service…, and when there’s no loud faire, there’s always the loyal usual patrons that will keep this kinder atmosphere going! It’s an experience anyone should be so honorable to have been. So join us for your pleasure at this very convening location.
Surprisingly clean with old fashioned charms. Cocktails are superb and tradicional menus also decent. Live music area is rather loud and crowded. Excellent service.
Day/Time: Thursday / 7:15-9:15pm
Location: Lounge (Walk-in, no reservation, no problem getting a booth; great atmosphere!)
Music: Jazz (smooth / cool jazz?) (musicians were awesome)
Food: Artichoke hearts, steak sandwich, wedge salad…All delicious); calamari…ehhh
Drinks: Manhattan, Negroni, Vesper Martini, Sidecar (All the classics were spot on), Blood and Sand (good, but not a fan of fruity drinks)
Service: Perfect. Didn’t catch the server’s name. She was attentive, but not overly or annoyingly. Just right.
Parking: EASY at the given time. Valet in the back ($6.00)
First timer and probably last timer. The only thing that impressed me here was the restaurant interior.
My friends and I came here for an early dinner before a show so we got here right as they started service, around 5:00pm. We ordered some drinks – I got some sort of blueberry mixed cocktail but it barely had any blueberry flavor (or alcohol). For my entree, I chose something simple – the rigatoni with meat sauce. It was disappointing – the noodles were cooked well but the meat sauce wasn’t meaty at all. In fact, it tasted mostly like marinara sauce with a smattering of meat bits. And it was salty.
Also, the wait staff kept stopping by our table to grab our dishes, even when we weren’t finished eating. Keep in mind, the restaurant had just opened, we were barely there for an hour and there was only 4 of us. They could not have run of silverware or dishes.

I am now I regular here at Dresden. I keep coming back for the incredible service provided by the entire staff. I’d like to make an honorable mention to the mother daughter staff members and the handsome bar tender who has remember my drink from day 1. This place is truly spectacular!
I would say the ambiance is about the only redeeming quality about this place. If you’re a foodie then this restaurant is probably not for you. The menu reads so well but unfortunately the food itself is lackluster and underwhelming. Maybe this is why they’re able to keep their prices so affordable. The service from the hostess to the manager to the servers and bus staff is awful and uncaring. We won’t be back and won’t recommend this spot.
Beautiful plush white dining booths embellished by the crimson walls and large black towering beams make for a majestic night out. Cozy, well taken care of by all staff it’s an “experience.” I savored the impeccable veal Marsala,sending my thanks to the chef. Most restaurants are o longer serving a fine baked just right potato…not so at the Dresden, along with ample portions. Looking forward to another “night out” there again soon! By the way, caught a glimpse of the two owner\ brothers chatting it up in a rear booth
