We went back here for a second time after going for the first time right after they opened. I hate to write this review, because I genuinely like the place and most of the food is great, but I ordered the duo of duck and the duck breast came out looking like this. I was shocked because I’ve never seen a duck breast so over cooked, dry, and frankly terrible. The meat was mealy because it was so over cooked. Tasted like it had been cooked hours ago and then reheated for serving, and it looked like a piece of burger meat. I asked the waiter about it who said that “this is just how the duck is served” which I found surprising (I assumed he would tell me it was a mistake). I really didn’t want to pay for the duck breast but also didn’t want to make a fuss so I just said ok. Long story short, if this is really how the chef likes to prepare the duck, make sure to not order it if you go to this place. What a sad way to ruin a perfectly good duck breast. Other than that, the restaurant was and is great, but the duck breast was just inedible.
We’ve recently enjoyed two great meals at Copper Shark. The first time, we had a slight slip up with the service. Manager Tito addressed it immediately and went “over the top” to make sure we were happy. We’re happy and we’re coming back for more!
Stopped in for a quick drink, ended up staying and having appetizers at the bar. The drinks were great (although the Old Fashioned served in a smokey wooden chest was a bit much). The grilled octopus was fantastic. We will be back for dinner!
Such a fun atmosphere and definitely has great potential! The drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the strawberry smash if you’re looking for something light and refreshing. The American Treasure was a unique
A wonderful place, down to the incredible homemade mayo. We enjoyed this delicious dinner experience so much. They have excellent and personable servers and mangers. They nailed all of it—drinks, food, decor and even plentiful parking. Can’t wait to go back!
I saw this place pop up on my social media over the past week and I had to check it out. I went with my partner and we decided to try a bunch of different appetizers as our meal – everything was absolutely delicious. We ended up getting the ahi nachos, duck bolognese, watermelon feta salad, risotto caprese, and truffle fries and I wish I had room in my stomach to try everything else.
We went for a happy hour that turned into a fancy dinner night because we couldn’t resist the menu.
Best restaurant in Baltimore. Every single dish was not only delightful but surprising in a fun way. Absolutely better than my wildest expectations.
Heard about a new restaurant on Fort Ave. A street thats got sooo many great food and drink places just got better. Got the 8 oz flat iron steak it was amazing. Was seated at the bar and im glad I was. Loghan, Greg, Jason and Kennedy were slinging awesome cocktails. Business was busy for a Friday night but they were awesome and still had time to suggest good drinks. It made for an awesome experience. Definitely try the Calypso(Macerated Pineapple with Jameson Orange. Jameson Orange,
