First time ordering from this establishment. Wonderfully surprised by the pleasant flavors and tasty but not overpowering spice levels. I’ll definitely be ordering again. (saving the 5th star for a repeat performance )
This was a terrible meal! The BBQ ribeye was fatty and the veggies had no flavor. The
Excellent food, many menu items and many varied choices. Great quality foods and they have a full bar.
This was genuinely one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. We had been busy all day unpacking from our move and wanted some tasty Thai food delivered to relax with. This did not deliver.
We ordered Pad Ma Khur Yao (eggplant sauté), Pad Se Ew, Som Tum Salad (papaya salad), and Ma Sa Man Gai curry. Wow…this place managed to give us poorly executed versions of all of them. I expect a certain amount of over-cooking when getting things delivered instead of eating in, but the eggplant veggie sauté and Pad Se Ew were so over cooked and mushy it was nearly inedible. The Pad Se Ew had a decent flavor, but with the noodles so over cooked they crumbled, it didn’t overcome that.
The papaya salad was somehow overly spicy despite requesting a mild and it had a metallic taste to it. Just completely unappetizing.
And now the worst for last. The Ma Sa Man (everywhere else just lists it as Masaman) curry. This was AWFUL (and yes, capitalization is necessary here)! It tasted like cinnamon soup! The potatoes were undercooked and rock hard, but it’s not like you wanted to keep going once you tasted this abomination of a curry. It had no thickness at all to it either, but again, the cinnamon taste was just the worst. I genuinely don’t know how you mess up Masaman curry like that.
I will not be back. I will never recommend. I find it astonishing that this place has 4 stars on here.
Soooo good. I order from Thai Chef’s house every few weeks to go on my lunch break! It’s yummy every time. Pair it with a Thai iced tea! Never misses
Food tastes great! The best Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. We also ordered the Chili and Thai Basil. Very flavorful. Love it
i am OBSESSED with this place. their spring rolls are heavenly, my absolute favorite. the veggies are always crisp and refreshing. i cant order food here without getting them! the green curry is also amazing. 10/10 every time
Pretty good. Happy that they use coconut milk instead of dairy for many of their dishes. Staff is super friendly and sweet and the atmosphere is pleasant. I’ve passed this place many times but this is the first time I’ve stopped in. Was a bit disappointed in the portion size (def smallest portion I’ve received at a Thai restaurant for this meal). I usually like to split between two meals but this was a comfortable single portion. Perfect for those who don’t enjoy leftovers at least, so that’s efficient. Flavor was pretty good otherwise.
This is hands down the best Thai in Sacramento. The coconut soup is thick creamy and has wonderful pieces of chicken and mushroom. Pad Thai is a huge dish and so fresh. Tried drunken noodles w steak today and it was also delicious. Owners are do gracious so this is a must visit restaurant if you want wonderful Thai.
I thought my lunch here was okay – they definitely served very generous portions especially for lunch. The drunken noodles I got had a little too much water in it and wasn’t as dry as I’ve normally had/preferred. The pad thai was also a generous portion, but had a lot of veggies mixed in that I feel like don’t always go well with pad thai, like sliced carrots and cabbage. It wasn’t a bad meal or anything, so maybe I’ll come by and try some of their other items.
