I get the impression they’re going under. Dead parking lot, the letters in their sign 80% burned out…waiting ten minutes to be acknowledged (there is a note of being understaffed), went to order an appetizer and six of them were unavailable, no croutons, premeasured ketchup, A1, dressing, she counted the straws, and definitely no free bread or rolls! But, the loaded BBQ potato was good no less, clean, nice people.
We are new to the area and figured we would try this out. Our family of 4 went in on a Sunday evening for dinner, even though the sign at the front door said “please be patient we are very short staffed” we had a great experience! Our waitress was super friendly and on top of things. Food was great! mixed drinks were on point!. We will definitely be going back!
They are extremely short staffed but they made up for the delay with the amazing staff and incredible food! Michelle, our server, was great! She was nonstop the entire time; making sure her tables had what they needed, that the food was good, glasses were full and did it all with the best attitude. Absolutely amazing!
The best BBQ I’ve had. I was staying at the hotel right by here and passed it on my way in. Thought it sounded great but being so close to a hotel I’m always suspicious because you know places like these pop up to cater to (read scam) tourists. Happy to say this was the opposite. The “award-winning” ribs were delicious! I couldn’t get enough of my sides. And the steak was cooked to perfection. The portions were big enough to take some home (half a steak, 2 ribs, and a few bits of each side) and the whole thing was just over $20. Are you kidding?!
Enjoyed Texas Outlaw at the Ribfest. The ribs were seasoned well, the sauce was good and it was very tender. Loved the option of adding my own extra sauce after receiving my order. 4 stars because the ribs taste like they were boiled and then put on the grill.
On our way heading back up to Indiana and decided to give this place a try. We got the steak combo, one with ribs and other with shrimp. We got our food in a timely matter and everything tasted good. The waitress was also really friendly and made sure we were taking care of. Definitely glad we stopped and will again if we’re close by.
Although short staffed (delays for service), our waitstaff (Wilma) was wonderful and catered to us. She didn’t let the circumstances spoil her awesome personality. That said, the food was great! Will make a future trip back here. There’s a reason why it’s the
My fiance and I wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse, but that place was busy so we decided to come here instead. And it was honestly pretty good. I ordered the ribs and grilled chicken while my fiance ordered the Outlaw Burger. The photo is a potato appetizer we had which we got since they were out of Blooming Onion. The reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because they seemed to be out of a lot of stuff (Blooming onion, mashed potatoes, salmon burger, pretty much a lot of stuff we wanted) and the fact that they seem to be short staffed a lot (which is admittedly not much of their fault in this economy). Overall a really nice place with some cool decor and really good ribs.
Food was ok, sautéed mushrooms were awful, I did send back and ordered coleslaw. Meat did not have a big smoked flavor. They need to work on plating food as you can see.
Everything was wonderful! Our waitress was awesome as well! Blooming onion and mushrooms are a must!!! I don’t think you can go wrong with anything though!
