Great spot, small taqueria. Pretty straight forward menu, classic taqueria style.

Cash only.

Good fresh ingredients and friendly service. Two tacos will do you justice for lunch. 3 if you like a larger meal.

Not a place I would want to sit down and eat, but if you’re looking for a decent take out place for Mexican food this might be your spot. Downsides: only accepts cash and in my option a bit overpriced. I got a burrito dinner and medium drink which cost $20.

So I’ve been a customer here for about 7 years. I’ve always loved their steak tacos and ground beef tacos. The service to me continues to be the best I’ve experienced. Quick, accurate and tasty. I don’t get there as much as I used to and they aren’t opened as late as they used to. I used to say their steak was the best. Sadly not anymore. I don’t know what it is? The steak looks and texture wise is the same but the taste is strange. Don’t know if it’s the recipe for the seasoning but it’s not the same. The ground beef is still the best. They don’t do flan anymore which was the best flan I’ve had. My mom still loves their seafood cocktail. I usually went out of my way to go there. I have more options and better closer to me.

Very large portions! And the food was delicious! Service was great too, everyone was super friendly. They also gave us complimentary soup to start and it tasted like it was home made. I got the burrito with everything on it and they didn’t skimp out on any of the ingredients! Definitely will be back!

I come here almost on a daily basis for there carne asada tacos, honest to god reminds me of my grandmas, this place deserves more customers because they satisfy me every time with my meal, they make conversation and ask if my foods ok, although it’s 5 dollars a taco they don’t scam on the amount of meat or anything so you get what you pay for but in my opinion this is an amazing restaurant and I try to bring my friends to show them this nice restaurant

The tacos are really good. The place is small, but the the food is worth. P. S. They only accept cash.

The food is pretty good. Just ridiculously overpriced. 10 dollars for the chilaquiles? That’s corn tortillas and hot sauce. No eggs. Just tortillas and sauce. For 10 bucks. Am I missing something here. Did Jesus himself make those tortillas? As far as I know, that about 20 cents worth or ingredients.

Tbh, every Mexican joint in the area is overpriced. This is the place to go if your desperate. If you have the time, head down to Pilsen.

Our go-to taqueria in an area full of great options. After our recent trip to Mexico, my husband’s now even more convinced that this is the real deal. Each time we think we just want a couple tacos, our eyes get bigger than our tummies and before we know it we have 8 tacos and a massive bowl of soup. But it’s tacos, so there’s never too many. Right?

Highly recommend the birria soup on the weekends, cabeza, lengua, tilapia.. actually just get whatever catches your eye. It’s all good. Except maybe the beef brain – that was a nice one-time experience.

Hate that they had to increase their prices, but I’d rather they stay in business and I continue to have great tacos steps away from my house.
