Final verdict: 3 stars. 2 for a mediocre Cali burrito and 1 extra because the green salsa was good.
Burrito was underwhelming in size for $11.00 compared to others I’ve tried. They use fat fries instead of skinny fries which I’m not a fan of. However the green salsa which hardly looks green in the picture is really good. I think this place has potential. Cooks don’t wear gloves and grab food with bare hands and I’m not sure if they were just cleaning or not before making my burrito.. but i can see it being gross for some. I think with a little improvise they can do well especially in times when you have 20 taco trucks down Bristol selling the same if not cheaper food.
Prices are great just like their food. You have to try their tacos de papa, ( potato tacos). Also the asada burrito is one of my favorites.
First time visiting here and thought the food was ok, just ok. I ordered a carnitas burrito and it lacked flavor. The salsa that came with the burrito was not spicy nor flavorful, and also came in a tiny tiny container.
That’s all I can honestly say about this place.
PLEASE DONT EAT HERE. This place is trash the drinks are not fresh its powder. There is nothing nastier than powder or horchata or Jamaica. The food was not good at all it soggy as if they had the beans on them for plus 20 mins my Whole Foods collapse completely. I wish I could give them a zero star
I decided to try this place since it was next to Boba Junkie, I ended up loving their chicken CA burrito; I like that the chicken meat is well marinated and not relying on sauces alone to make the flavors. Their green side sauce is also really good – make the burrito come together nicely; I have introduced 2 other friends to this place and they enjoyed the food (to their own surprises, just like how I was lol). One thing I will say is I wish the burrito maker uses gloves …. But … I’m walking into a hole in a wall place here of my own accord so gotta take the authenticity along with it I guess
Edit: I went back a couple times after the review and noticed workers were wearing gloves. Not saying it’s due to my review, but want to highlight that some workers do observe this hygiene practice
Could be better the yellow cheese wasn’t good would taste better with regular cheese horchata was missing something and chips and salsa would be nice while you wait for the price you pay
I ordered from them and approved the order and then cancelled delivery that was soon to be delivered. Last time I use them!
The food is delicious!
The reason why I’m posting its because they have cockroaches on their counters not one but 3 tiny ones! CUCARACHAS!!!!!! I don’t want extra protein in my frijoles or maybe that’s what makes it good. Please get rid of your roaches!
There are plenty of taco trucks around that I’ve wanted to try but wanted to try a restaurant first because cleaner?
Ordered a carne asada burrito but overall, it was nothing special. The carne wasnt plentiful and nothing that great. The beans were above average. Rice is just rice and the size of the burrito was smaller than average. The hot sauce, was just regular hot sauce.
Overall, just an average place that serves and average burrito.
The service here is absolutely horrible. The woman that took our order was extremely rude. She packed my order with someone else’s and when we asked her to clarify the orders she mixed our orders up. I opened up the order to double check to find that there was a mistake. When I asked her about it she raised her voice. There are better taco spots around this area.
