Stopped in for a light lunch whilst on a long layover, well, wont do it again here, ordered a beer, Becks – OK but not very cold and a starter of Calamari which was awful. If it was frozen and reheated it would not be a surprise. As such I decided to get the rest of my lunch elsewhere. Plus expensive.

Waiting for flight to Phoenix. Husband had Strada Breakfast- a full English breakfast which is served all day. He said it was tasty but under-seasoned and needed salt. He drank an Aspall cyder which he really enjoyed (“Created to celebrate 275 years of cyder making by 8th generation brothers Barry and Henry Chevalier Guild”). I had the bolognese and a Disaronno espresso martini. Pasta was average (did not come with a side of bread). Drink was good. Service was average. We never received the water we asked for.

I was asked what salad I wanted with my meal- I asked if it was included and found out it is not. Beware of unintentionally adding to your bill.

Only giving one because I have to. Absolutely disgusting big breakfast. Toast was rock hard, needed a chisel to eat it. Bacon stone cold, eggs supposed to be farm fresh but we’re powered scrambled eggs and…. cold! Beans can out on a separate bowl and had been microwaved so the bowl was boiling and I couldn’t get the beans onto the plate to join the rest of the mess.
Prosecco is £7 a glass and the smallest glass I’ve ever seen.
All in all abysmal and you should eat somewhere else.

We decided to eat here while we layover in London Heathdrow airport for 4 hours.
It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. So I guess it’s okay to try if you are going to eat in airport. But make sure you have tons of time. We’ve waited 40 minutes for food and also service was very slow!

We were in terminal 3 and we had a six hour wait we were starving to death so we found Strada. My kids ordered bolonese and penne they loved it a lot. I had a pizza with cheese egg and spinach my wife had a big salad with rosemary potatoes. Of course my kids wanted dessert so they got each a mango ice Lollies, food was very good and service was on point.

If you have flown through Heathrow, you know that your gate is not posted until 1 hour before you takeoff. Not knowing which terminal you are going to be in means you can’t just post up at the gate and watch a tv show until boarding. The only thing you can do is eat or shop.

When I visited Strada yesterday for the lunchtime hour, the staff was all very friendly and the best part was that they were able to seat us right away. With all our carry on bags, they even pushed together another two-top table next to ours to give us more room. I opted to split the bolognese and a Vesuvius pizza with my boyfriend and it was more than enough food for the both of us. Be warned- the Vesuvius is spicy (but still recommend it)!

I would definitely recommend Strada if you are looking for a place to eat. our food came out quickly and hot and yet they didn’t push you to give up your table when you were done eating. The food is by no means 5 star quality but it was good enough to satisfy my hunger!

Ordered the bolognese which was surprisingly good. Fresh pasta, plenty of meat, nice thick tomato sauce with plenty of meaty and rich wine flavor. I’m not going to say it’s the best pasta I’ve ever tasted, but I was pleasantly surprised to have this great dining option in the airport. On top of that the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. For that, it’s being bumped up to the perfect rating.

Came here for lunch while waiting for my flight home. The staff was really friendly from the moment we arrived and the food was delicious. We ordered the arincini, minestrone soup, and margherita pizza. The food came out really quick, since it is located at the airport I assume most people need to be in and out. Everything we had was super tasty, plus the prices were great. Inside it has a nice ambiance, so you sort of forget that you’re at the airport. If I’m back in terminal 3, I’ll definitely return to this restaurant.

Scrumptious pizza at a great price! Usually airport pizza isn’t so great but this one was delicious.

For a place this busy, i’m shocked at the lack of organisation Strada had. Multiple staff were not sure if the lunch menu was available at the time I arrived, none of the waitresses seemed sure if they were ours or not, and they asked us to move table to accommodate a larger group which came in. Some of the girls were sweet and attentive, others rude and unattentive. The girl showing us to our table paused mid-walk to wipe down a different table, seemingly forgetting we were behind her and our hunger was at her mercy.   The food was abysmal even for a commoner like me, i had a burger which had no sauce/relish to speak of and i ordered extra cheese, only to receive what i would describe as a WW2-level rationing of cheese, the thickness of which had to be measured in microns. And measure i did.
Despite there not being many alternatives in T3, avoid Strada at all costs, go hungry or buy a pack of harribo.
