Very nice owner who walked us through the menu.  Great food. Try the cowboy tater salad.  The hand cut French fries are excellent. All the sauces were great.  The sandwiches include a side and a drink which is a good deal. If you’re passing through, stop by. If you have time for a detour,  go there.

Listen to me people. As an Alabama Native it is always a common practice to prepare for disappointment whenever you’re looking for BBQ up North.
THIS WAS NOT THE CASE

This was by far some of the most amazing BBQ I’ve ever had in my life.
Customer service was awesome. Food came out super fast. Nothing was frozen or half-A$$ed
I felt at home.

There’s always great service from Bruno and his team at Southern Yanks BBQ! What a great local spot and definitely worth the stop.  Wether you’re looking for lunch or catering for 100 guests, I would recommend this restaurant for your next food adventure.

Stoped In To try this place and ordered ribs and pork with Mac n cheese . Mac n cheese is $6 for a small side so I’m thinking this must be good stuff , wrong . I ordered from the owner and got the food in a minute or 2 took 1 bite an knew I was in trouble . Ribs are dry taste like a slim Jim. Pork taste like vinegar. $6 Mac n cheese was not very good. They asked if it was good I said no I can’t even eat it . There response was sorry ! I told them to give me a to go box I’ll feed it to my dog. Waste of $30 fir me. Not sure how anyone leaves a good review after the food I got to eat . Go somewhere else anywhere else. Also if I take 1 bite and tell you it’s horrible I believe you should be offered a refund not an apology.

Small restaurant in Washington but the BBQ was amazing.  I got the pulled pork and they had several different sauces to add.  The baked beans were the best I’ve ever had.  The mac and cheese was good and so creamy.

This is hands-down the best barbecue I’ve ever had!
My husband and I were passing through Washington, PA on I-70 and saw the great reviews on Yelp.
Bruno the owner came out and explained the menu and and how his barbecue is different and boy was he right! He also has a variety of interesting bottled sodas that are wonderful compliment to his smoked meats.
I had The Southerner which was his smoked pork on a brioche bun topped with his homemade slaw and sliced pickles. I had a side of fries with it, which were fresh cut and fried to perfection—not soggy. We will be back on our next trip out East. Worth the stop! Thx Bruno and staff!

Great BBQ in Washington, Pa. From brisket, pulled pork, ribs, Tri-tip, BBQ Beef. Killer beans, Mac and cheese, Southern twist on potato salad, cole slaw. Today was the Brisket sandwich, tender, juicy brisket, smoked Gouda cheese, caramelized onions, topped with their FM Spicy, and Carolina sweet BBQ sauces, an awesome sandwich. The beans are killer, mixed with some brisket, bbq sauce, nothing canned here, everything homemade, and you can tell.  A must try if you love BBQ!

We don’t normally go to what we’d call BBQ restaurants, but for some reason on this day we did AND WE ARE SO GLAD.  The staff is enthusiastic and passionate about their food.  Their equivalent of pulled pork was juicy and very flavorful.  My husband is a connoisseur of baked beans and he LOVED the beans here–delicious.  The mac and cheese was creamy and rich.  The restaurant interior is very modest, but we were there on a cold, wet day and it was welcoming.  It’s located right down town but easy to find from the interstate.
