Found this place via Yelp and it was too far from where I was staying so made a trip there. I ordered the tempura udon and a couple of rolls, salmon and negi-hama. They brought a couple of small appetizers (gyoza and pickled  daikon). First came the rolls, nicely made and looked good. The fish was fresh and the rolls were tasty and rice was great. They brought the udon out and I was perplexed because there was no tempura, only the flakes. I asked the waitress if it was tempura udon. She said, Yes. I then asked doesn’t it some with shrimp and veggies and just as I was asking the other waitress brought it…lol The udon was very good.

Food’s not bad, not great either. Service was really mediocre as well; friendly staff, but also took forever to get their attention and way too long to get our bill. And this was despite being one out of the two groups currently in the restaurant.

We just stopped in for lunch!  The toro fusion was outstanding!  If you know what this is, best I have had in Arizona!  Enjoy!

I used to love this place until today. I was eating my udon and there was a baby cockroach inside my bowl of udon. NASTY! Please call pest control!!! Never going back! Since I’m forced to choose a rating I’ll give a 1 star.

Love this place, always great service and excellent food. Today I had lunch sushi special (spicy salmon roll with 5pc nigiri), very tasty. My toddler son also loved his chicken tempura with a yummy mayo sauce. Their bento boxes and ramen are also very good, we always order them for take out. Owner/Staff are always warm and welcoming, so thankful to have this restaurant close to home.

I love “kama” as in fried fish collar – Yellowtail Kama and Salmon Kama. I had the salmon because they did not have Yellowtail. It was cooked perfectly and paired with the traditional ponzu daikon dipping sauce. That’s a win. My husband ordered the Miso Ramen and enjoyed it very much. The service was friendly and we were greeted by everyone with a Hello! And Welcome! For these reasons this place earned our 4 rating. We did want sushi and we ordered Hama Negi and Ocean roll. I had to dress the Hama Negi with lemon and ponzu; it was bland without that must have flavor. The roll fell apart and just didn’t stay together. We will come back for the Kama and ramen but this will not be on our go-to sushi place.

This Sushi place is highly recommended when I search for best Ramen Noodles soup in town.  They have an array of sushi selections.  We have ordered the Volcano- a California roll atop with baked langostino, scallops, shrimp and crab meat with eel and spicy sauce.  We also tried their Salmon Monster roll – on this one it’s all about the “Salmon”  – inside iits shrimp tempura, crab meat and avocado on top spicy crab meat, chunky salmon pieces with the eel dressing AWESOME . Then we added some seaweed salad that came with slivered cucumber and oranges-ginger dressing.  So good .  Of course for our main meal we requested Sukiyaki Udon Soup for me and Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen soup for my husband Rick.  Little do we know they serve them so big and in a cauldron, two to three people can share the big bowl they serve with. They have special pricing on some of their menus and their libations.  Very good dining experience, we are for sure coming back.

Went here for early Father’s Day dinner with the family. Oh Boy, did we make a mistake. My wife found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it has decent reviews.  So disappointed with their food. We ordered the omakase for 4 and all the fish except for the tuna was not fresh at all! Albacore was discolored and has a rotten texture.  The hamachi sashimi didn’t have much taste and it still had the thick skin on! What is going on with these restaurants?  We left most of the fish uneaten. We would have been better off staying home and had a home cooked meal.  So disappointed with going out nowadays.  Want to give a new restaurants a try, but keep leaving with a bad taste in our mouth.

I arrived at around 4 pm on a day where it wasn’t too busy, it took a while for us to get menus and it also took a while for them to take our order, I’m going to say it was about 4:30 when we even got the order in. At this point people started trickling into the restaurant for dinner. I ordered about 3 rolls and several nigiri. The food took another 40 minutes to come out. Other tables who got there later than us got their food before us. The sushi were decent in taste but some did not match their description on the menu well. Additionally I felt that the tuna was not the freshest. I think the fish:rice ratio was good on the nigiri, but too much rice on the rolls. Overall the experience was underwhelming but at some point I might still go back to try the ramen to see if they can redeem themselves.
