We got this for delivery so I can’t speak for service. The food, was not authentic Peruvian food from my experience (my partner is Peruvian). Starting with the chicken – the taste was okay but definitely very dry. I got the white meat so maybe get the dark meat and you’ll have better luck. Flavor wise, it tasted just like any other rotisserie chicken. The yucca fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The arroz chaufa is probably the closest thing to Peruvian this place had. It had a tiny bit too much ginger, but I like the taste of ginger so it was okay.
We also ordered a pupusa which was a mistake. I don’t know what I was thinking ordering an El Salvadorian dish from a “Peruvian” place. We got the revueltas pupusa which was suppose to be cheese, beans, and pork, but it was 90% beans. It was also over $3 for ONE pupusa. In general, this place is far too expensive for what it is. I know prices are going up and I completely understand but things like lomo saltado should not be over $20 and half a chicken should not be costing me $15. I should’ve just gotten a rotisserie chicken from Costco.
This is my go to spot for family meals .. I love the clean cooking (minimal fats, oils n butter) for rice and vegetables and the quality meats are delicious.
Been to Laurel for work 4 times in last 8 weeks. This is my go to place. Chicken is by far best meal and deal in town! Highly recommend. Wish they had this where I live, would eat there every week. Healthy and delicious!
Oh the joy of ordering succulent Peruvian chicken with the perfect taste of an angelic marinade and the smoky flavor that accompanies this high caliber chicken. The fries are always great, but as my palate has evolved, more and more I have found the tropical zest of the plantains and the wholesomeness of the Brussels sprouts and carrots to be my favorites. Treat yourself!
I come here at least once a week. The chicken is always super fresh and hot and the sides are plentiful and full of flavor.
I have been missing out. I am not a big fan of Peruvian Chicken. However, I learned today that they offer other items besides chicken. I order the carne asada, but also learned they had shrimp, lamb chops, pork chops, and fish. I will definitely return to test menu options outside of chicken.
It was just ok. They definitely cut back on their portions but didn’t lower their prices
Are in a few nights ago and had the 1/4 white chicken. It was fresh and delicious. The sides were fresh and hot and had a good flavor. Their sauces are also very good. The restaurant could be cleaner; but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that we got there following the dinner rush hour.
Don’t know why personnel here is so triggered. Maybe they’ve got a bunch of rude clients or that’s their usual behavior. But for us it wasn’t a pleasant visit. But we thought maybe guys who work inside just having a bad mood. And our food was okay. We got chicken with rice, seasoned great, cooked precisely. Prices are fair. We are not expecting from restaurants to be entertaining, but stuff in this place provide it to us, unfortunately it wasn’t nice when people acts rude for no reason (at least we didn’t gave any, maybe guys have a really bad day, who knows). Food wasn’t bad, we just don’t enjoy this place.
