Absolutely amazing service from the lovely Caitlin and Amber. They made this place 100% worth coming back to for sure. Completely lovely staff should be commended. Thanks guys!.
The outdoor seating is relaxing and enjoyable with a great view. We ate breakfast.. I had the eggs Benedict with ham. It was ok, not great but not horrible either. It was bland and the eggs were overdone. Others in our party had the big breakfast, again it was just ok. The cappuccino and coffees were excellent.
Excellent location with a nice variety of food and drinks. I was impressed by the prices and portions which were great considering how close to the water the place is.
I had the avacado salad and added chicken–healthy and wholesome an left me satisfied but not full.
Also love the aesthetic of the spot. Light and airy with plenty of character.
Craig was very helpful in picking out drinks and even gave me a free taste of their higher end brands! Can’t go wrong with steak and fries and the dessert is so good- brownie was not overly sweet and tasted well with the creamy vanilla ice cream the people were so nice! Bonus is the lovely river view Will have to come back here again!
Hi there, I was disappointed with the crab burger. Not what I was expecting. I thought I would be getting fresh crab but I go what looked and tasted like over cooked bacon. On top of that it was drowned in mayonnaise. Everything else was great – service, atmosphere….
Riverbar was a nice place. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, good food, and tasty beers. Seemed a bit on the spendy side to me, but being from the States, everything seems expensive in Australia.
Awesome riverside bar/restaurant. We were just visiting and looking for somewhere along the river. This place ruled. Great staff, great options, it’s fun with a table tennis table but also classy. We loved everything.
The location is great with the outdoor patio right on the river, but the food was just okay to me.
Pros:
1. Location/view
2. When we did see a waiter, they were nice.
3. Plenty of people there so it seems lively.
Cons:
1. Waiters don’t come to you. You need to order everything at the bar yourself. They’ll bring food out to you once ordered, and eventually take away your plates, but otherwise they don’t come by to check on you or see if you need anything.
2. The food was just so-so. Had the fried calamari which wasn’t that great (mine was a little soggy and chewy). The barramundi (steamed) was a bit overcooked and lacking in flavor.
3. Need a few more patio heaters when it’s chilly.
We ate here twice during the course of one weekend and enjoyed both significantly. The atmosphere along the river is great, of course, but the reasonably priced jugs of cider, share plates and pizza add to the appeal. You’ll have to fight for a seat because this place is so popular, but it’s well worth it!
Such a great location! I love coming here because the view is fantastic, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is excellent. Definitely be back!
