We stopped in so I could say I had some fish and chips while visiting Seattle. They were pretty good, but weren’t very crispy unfortunately. They were ready very quickly though (online ordering). I think the real Red Mill standouts are the burgers and shakes.

Once again I’m disappointed by the laxk of quality and not being transparent.
We ordered online went to pick up order..wasn’t until we drove off that we noticed our beverages had no ice..we did not place an order with no ice. I called to mention this and was told ” yeah we’re running low on ice if you come back we can put some in your drink” I asked why didn’t you just mention it to customers when they pick up? He said ” yeah we didn’t mention it” Obviously we didn’t drive back. You can’t place an order without adding a tip and I always tip well. However, if you can’t deliver on an order then say so at pick up. I would have understood if the reason was messaged to me. Give me the option I paid for and be transparent with customers. We never experience any quality control issues at the Dravus location. Maybe some cross training. Sloppy. Do better.

This spot is only accepting online orders at this time, but it’s easy to get there and then place your order online. It will be ready soon. Limited parking here, but it’s free. There is no restroom but we were instructed to go to the climbing gym next door.

Ample outdoor seating. The fish and chips are very generously sized, and no complaints on the fries either (could be saltier but I should probably restrict my sodium intake once in a while). Highly recommend. Service is friendly and fast (they don’t have an easy job, it looks really busy in there.)

Burger, which I was hoping to be the star of my meal, was not great at all. It had a broiled/grilled tasted similar to Burger King but not much as flavor, not even very salty. The grilled onions on my burger, which I normally love, were also very bland. I was so uninterested in my burger that I didn’t finish it. The lettuce and tomatoes on my burger were fresh but they didn’t add enough sauce which left the burger dry and even more flavorless. The onion rings were very good though and nice and crispy. The milkshake was also pretty good and I could tell they used fresh fruit. I would consider going back for a milkshake or onion rings as a snack if I’m the area but definitely not a burger.

The food here was so delicious. My bacon blue cheeseburger was to die for. And the service was so friendly

Large portions. Fish and Chips were delicious. The mobile ordering was simple and it was prepared quickly. Friendly staff. I’ll be returning!

Anytime I travel to Seattle Red Mill is a must.  Today I flew 3000 miles and my first stop in Seattle after picking up my rental car was Red Mill in Ballard. My go to is always the Red Mill Deluxe with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and Mill sauce $8.49 YUM.  IMO no visit to Red Mill is complete without a mint and chocolate chip shake $4.99.  Grab napkins because the Mill Sauce deliciousness will ooze from the burger.  What I love about Red Mill no matter the location it’s consistent!  IMO BEST BURGER IN SEATTLE!

We picked up some burgers and shakes. Had a casual little picnic at the botanical garden. Surrounded by quiet but very territorial geese. Who were waiting for our scrap snow doubt and I’m pretty sure that was their dong lying around everywhere in this place. Anyways the burgers were very good. The fries were good too. The shakes were fine. The onion rings were absolutely disgusting. It must be your thing. Because I guess people drive everywhere just to get the onion rings. Not me.

COVID had nothing to do with what I received as the worst hamburger I ever had. Bacon so burnt that it just crumbled and fel out like it was days old. The bun fell apart and became Posable to eat. I have been going to the Totam house for 45. Years and if this is how Red Mill wants to Cary on that legacy they need to do much better!

i came here on vacation to washington a year ago and i literally still think about their double cheeseburger. i’m up right now thinking about it. if i could take the flight from lax to seatac again right now i would in a heartbeat for one of these burgers. i don’t think i’m lying when i say i think it’s one of the best, simple cheeseburgers i’ve ever had.
