Their Arepas are delicious. Staff is nice. Atmosphere is chill. I wish they were open earlier on Saturdays
Puyero remains one or my favorite place. The owners are so nice and the place is so cute. I take the kids here for tequenos but love everything on the menu.
We ordered a pork and beef arepas as well as the tequenos. Everything was very good. I recommend and would go back.
There is only one word to explain puyero. BANGIN. very large portion sizes as well. One of my favorite food spots in Philadelphia.
Food is great but the service was so poor that I regret supporting this restaurant. The woman I dealt with was very rude and seemed determined to get through our interaction while using as few words as possible. I won’t be returning.
I’m don’t have a lot of experience with Venezuelan food, but this was a wonderful introduction to Arepas. The servings were generous, the meat was delicious, and the salsas were perfect to compliment it all. I also enjoyed some great Yucca fries and cilantro lemonade. Complete with a friendly atmosphere, this is a great gem worth stopping by!

Good Venezuelan food option in Philly. The green sauce is FABULOUS!!!!! Empanadas were so good.
Wow. Wow. Wow. We had a delivery of the patacón pisao. This sandwich was huge. We had ordered another dish we didn’t even touch because this was so filling. So many flavors and tastes just in this one sandwich. Phenomenal.
Seating is limited but OMG the food is amazing….my wife is Venezuelan and we love this kind of food…absolutely amazing quality and more food than any one person can eat in a sitting. You have to eat here, this place is so reasonable and the food is off the charts, can’t wait to go back again.
