Always quality food and great service. The pastas are hand crafted and the bread is made in house. It’s really some of the best food in the 314.

First timer here and I absolutely loved it!

I watched my friends dog for her a couple of weekends ago, she wanted to pay me but I suggested we just to dinner instead (more of an experiences kinda gal). I’ve been wanting to come here, I suggested it, and she happily obliged!
We made a reservation at 645 and were promptly seated. This place is so cozy with how the tables are closely set up, but it isn’t an over invasion of privacy. The ambiance is relaxed but still lively, especially with the lighting!
We ordered a bottle of red house wine. It was a blend and a super great addition to our meal. The bread and oil they provided before the meal was amazing. It was kind of a family style feel as our server gave it to us out of a fresh basket.
We both ordered salads, I got the Italian and it was amazing! The salami on it really added a special salty kick. I love non-sweet salad dressings and this was perfect for the salad.
For our meal I ordered the cacio e Pepe. I love simple pasta recipes and this hit just right. The freshness of the pasta added to the dish, so it truly didn’t need much. The pepper to cheese ratio was perfect (I’ve had some bad over peppered cacio e Pepe experiences lol).
I am so happy we came here and enjoyed our night out! 5 stars on ambiance, 5 stars for food/drink, 5 stars for service. Thanks so much, Pastaria!

I really like the pizza here! I think it’s one of the best pizza places in stl. The services is always great and the employees are always so helpful. The atmosphere is also great!

My only call out is that they have become fairly pricing now compared to what they use to be.

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. I ordered the Pistachio Ravioli and my colleague ordered the Roman pizza. Both were pretty good for a quick dinner on a weekday. The pasta noodles were al dente, which isn’t my preference. Sauce was very tasty! My tastebuds were sensitive to the salt in the Roman pizza. Overall, I would return for a quick bite to eat the next time I’m in town.

I’m such a huge fan of Pastaria and have been for so many years! They truly make the best pizza and pasta in STL – great variety on their menu, everything is delicious, the staff is so welcoming and kind! The margherita pizza is classic and wonderful – we really enjoy the Hawaiian pizza too! The kale Caesar salad with parm is awesome and really helps lighten up the meal since most items are carbs 🙂
Their prices have definitely gone up over the years, but I love this spot to take friends from out of town or a nice date night too. They have brought back happy hour (every day from 4-5:30) which is great and we definitely will be visiting again!

They do have gluten free pasta but they upcharge significantly for a very small portion of pasta. The gluten-free portion did not even compare to the gluten portion. They did have many gluten free drink options, cider, wine, and seltzer which were enjoyable. Also the server and staff were amazing, and if you are not gluten free, I would recommend, but for my gluten free friends out there, I would avoid this restaurant if you are looking for pasta.

Lots of hype, but haven’t been able to find anything I like here.  I’ve tried the meatballs, risotto balls, pistachio ravioli, and carbonara.  No luck.

Came here on Monday night and had plenty of seats. It did get packed towards six to 7 o’clock though. Great casual vibe and definitely kid friendly. They started off with some nice fresh baked bread. That’s a big plus in my book to have really good bread.

Order the canestri cacio e pepe. Never had cacio e pepe with canestri but the flavors were spot on. Really could taste the freshly ground black pepper and the pecorino.

We also got that crispy risotto balls which were fantastic. Small bite-size pieces of fried mozzarella. Really good marinara sauce. In addition we also got the meatballs which came in three different types of meats.

Overall I enjoyed every bit of the meal and I topped it off with a pistachio gelato to go home and ordered one scoop and was given almost a whole cup. Really big serving size.

Very nice. Excellent service to start and attentive follow up. Food was really good. Portion sizes were right on. I liked the varietal menu changes so there is always something new.  Risotto appetizer was outstanding and recommended; shareable for two. Sangiovese paired beautifully with appetizer and Papadelle that was great.  Spicy Italian dishes are available too. Excellent gelato dessert. Will return.
