Rude staff! Young lady work it on 4/28 at 5:45 pm was beyond rude!
I used to turn cartwheels for my local Papa Murphy’s in NorCal, but these days I’m less acrobatic for my local store here in Knoxville. While the pizza remains a novel concept — order the way you like it or choose from a variety of toppings on a de-lite, regular or stuffed crust — this franchise isn’t as quite up to par.
Lately, when I’ve walked in on a Friday or Saturday evening, the pizza maker has pulled a pre-made pizza from the refrigerator which resulted in a somewhat soggy crust and not the crispy, crunchy one I’ve come to expect when I bake it at home. During my last four visits, only once has the employee-on-duty made the pizza pie fresh in front of me.
In addition, the NorCal proprietor permitted me to buy a large crust with no toppings for $3.00 so I could add my own vegan ingredients for family members who eat no dairy or meat. Here I must pay for the price of a cheese pizza that varies in price from $5.00-$7.00 depending on size.
Regardless, I appreciate Papa Murphy’s fresh ingredients, competitive prices and especially lower-cal delite crust. They even offer salads, desserts and soft drinks for nights when I have little time to prepare a wholesome meal.
