So much hype. SO worthy of said hype! Stopped in with empty stomachs and an absurd amount of taco enthusiasm. This small shop is located next to Noodles and Co. in Turkey Creek and has a clean and modern interior with plenty of seating, a salsa bar, and a counter that you order and pay from. Once food is done, they bring it to your table. Owner, Luis, was behind the counter and greeted us warmly and walked us through his favorites. He quickly pointed us to the pastor (grilled, marinated, pork tenderloin) dishes. Ummm… yes. Great recommendation. There are also several kinds of drinks, including Jarritos Mexican sodas, horchata, margaritas, and fresh juices.
We ordered a pastor taco, a pescado (grilled mahi-mahi) taco, pastor burrito, chips and queso, and street corn. It was all incredible, especially paired with the five salsas. We especially liked the house salsa and the verde/green salsa. The tacos and burrito are all highly-customizable. You can get them with lettuce, tomato, cheese or with onion and queso fresco. Other toppings to add on as well. Definitely opt to get the homemade corn tortillas instead of flour. Wow. The street corn had the perfect amount of lime and cheese to make it pop without an overpowering creaminess that some places add with mayo.
We will definitely get pastor dishes again and will try the carnitas and carne asada next time, too. Great service and great food. I hope they are around for a very long time.
I finally got to check this taco shop out yesterday. It’s such a hidden gem. Being from California I have not found authentic Mexican food in the East Tennessee area until now. My friend and I ordered the Trio with guac, salsa, and queso it was delicious. The chips were warm and fried fresh! Their salsa bar has an incredible array of salsas to try.
We both ordered different kinds of chicken burritos they were large, warm, and extremely filling. Mine had the chipotle sauce which was not too spicy but very flavorful. I can’t wait to come back again to try the tacos and other things on the menu. If you’re looking for a delicious and flavorful meal check out Pacos.
This is a cute little restaurant with really good food and great service. If you were on the run in KNOXVILLE Christmas shopping, you may want to stop by and grab a couple of street tacos. They are delicious.
Love this place! The staff are always so kind and the food is delicious! Their horchata is very tasty and I am very partial to the nachos! I haven’t tried a protein that I haven’t liked, but I think carnitas are my fave!
Definetly a great taco shop. Choice of meats allows for everyone to find their calling. The shop was clean and the staff was friendly.
I had the carne asada torta sandwich which was phenominal tasting. The salsa bar was nice to accentuate your taste and heat level.
Craving tacos this is your place. Grab a beer or margarita and get your grub on.
Great tacos, queso and margaritas. I had one marg and felt drunk lol, luckily my husband is my chauffeur. I had the fish, chorizo, and steak tacos with a side of queso
I love good Mexican food and this place didn’t disappoint. At first I was nervous because I looked like a glorified Baja Fresh but I couldn’t have been more wrong. We out how the food was and they said it was the best food and to definitely give it a try. Being gluten-free I was very pleased with the choices that they had. The Gordita and corn tortillas are all handmade gluten free and delicious. We loved the homemade salsa and guacamole. Service was very good and we were checked on after we were eating, which I didn’t expect. I have no complaints and enthusiastically recommend.
Paco’s is our new favorite taco shop ever since it was recommended to us. I found out it has been here for over three years. I’m wondering how I did not find this sooner. It definitely is a special place.
Everything here is fresh. Nothing is fried. Only grilled. Careful attention is paid to the ingredients of each dish making them as fresh as possible.
Recently I ordered the Mahi Taco. Three for $12 and worth every dime. It was a delicious treat. The burritos and quesadillas are out of this world. i’m sure the other offerings are as good, but I’m the kind of guy that at times, will stick with a single item if it really teases my palate.

The spot for tacos to go! You won’t be disappointed. Coming from California I have looked high and low for good Mexican food and trust me it’s hard to find out here in Tennessee. Paco’s Tacos is just that! Good tacos !!! Order to go and have a beer while you wait! Enjoy!!!
Hands down the BEST tacos I’ve ever had.
Had the chicken tacos street style (with cilantro and onion) added cheese SOOOOOO GOOD!! 5 stars is NOT enough. Will definitely eat here again. The customer service is absolutely outstanding.
