The food is really good. Great tasting sandwich. Fresh chicken salad with a nice fresh feel to it. Problem is that the sandwich was $16. The size of a small brioche burger bun. You know the ones from Publix bakery. Two small pieces of head lettuce and a half cup scoop of the chicken salad. One eighth of a pickle. ( literally half of a small spear.). $16
This is on us1 in Melbourne. Paying Miami Beach prices. Not worth the price. At half the price I would give it 5 stars.
Great service and Food. Loved Lasagna. Enjoyed small family feel. Even the house wine was good.
7:30 pm they don’t answer the phone and it says they are open until 9pm. Glad I’ve learned to check ahead because this is the new norm. Annoying.
The food is excellent. I had moussaka that was the best I’ve ever had. My sister had a quiche and a Greek salad that she loved. The baklava was fresh with just enough honey. The owner served us. He is a lovely Italian man who catered to my 90 year old mother like she was family. The only criticism is that the music was a little too loud and made it hard to carry on a conversation with someone who has trouble hearing. Otherwise, it was great. You must try this place out.
My partner and I stopped by while driving down to Miami. When we walked in I was automatically won over, I felt like I was in a classic market and I had to take in the all the goodies surrounding me.
I got a beer, Caprese sandwich and a side of meatballs- my partner ordered the Cacio e Pepe. The sandwich was delicious and light and went perfectly with the juicy meatballs and IPA. When I saw the face of my partner I knew the pasta was perfect, she graciously allowed me one of the last bites and I was quite tempted to take the rest for myself!
We sat outside and I couldn’t stop looking at the lengthy dessert menu and decided to pick up macarons and while I’m writing this review we can only say we wish we got more. If I lived near here I would be nearly every day. What a delicious treat!
Definitely stop by if you have the privilege of being nearby!!!!!
Hand crafted food. Wonderful service. Quaint and comfortable. Tortellini shrimp was very nice.
Amazing amazing amazing!!! I cannot believe how impressed I was with this restaurant. The truffle purses pasta brought me back to eating in Italy!! It was SO GOOD. My mother also ordered the ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce, which was also delicious. They brought out bread and a yummy garlic/basil spread when we arrived. My family also ordered two bottles of Sauvignon blanc which were very good as well. This place is perfect for family gatherings, date nights, or really any occasion. My boyfriend and I will most definitely be frequenting this hidden gem in downtown Melbourne. We cannot wait to go back!!
The online menu got us in the door.
From the minute we walked in I knew we came to a good place. The friendliness and aromas we’re good.
The decor was well put together and sitting next to the meat and cheese case got my juices flowing. (Really)
The lady (proprietor?) greeted us with vegan bread and a fabulous house made spicy pesto. My son ordered the meatball sandwich and I had flank steak with the best roasted potatoes and perfect asparagus. And a house salad.
What a great meal served by the lovely Olivia, so impressed with everything.
My son was very satisfied also.
Nice wine list, well thought out. I had an Italian Malbec and then a Sangiovese. Yum.
Didn’t have room for any of the 12 dessert selections.
BTW, this is a genuine review. One I am pleased to write.
Best place to eat by Melbourne beach hands down. The owner Francesco is the best! He speaks to all his customers and is the sweetest human. Let’s get to the food- the churrasco is 10 out of 10. The appetizers all hit the spot and his wine is 10/10 as well. Definitely stop by when you’re in the area.
Visited this wonderful establishment with my family and couldn’t be more pleased. Our family prefers a wide range of options and Nomad’s surely met all our needs (vegetarian, carnivore, and gluten-free). We were greeted by friendly staff and our server was a pure delight. Our food was presented well, served quickly, and delicious! Definitely will be back back for more
