Group of 4 with a reservation for dinner. The consensus was the waitress was the BEST. She knew that menu and recommended some good things. Some of us went off the recommendation and meh. The ravioli was too oily and didn’t have much flavor.
The burger was fine.
The app of fries was odd. The fries were large logs (fine) but very hard on the outside.  The sauce was delicious.

Brownie board for dessert was probably the best part.

Bustling vibe and cool decor

OVERALL: I’m not sure how I haven’t already reviewed nolos because it’s one of my all time favorite brunch spots. I love the overall vibes and the food!

FOOD: You can never go wrong with the breakfast fried rice. This is in every single brunch order I have here. I’m a splitsies type of girl though so depending on how many people I’m with we get about 2-4 entrees to share. The French toast has quickly become a favorite as well! I am bummed because they swapped out the breakfast tacos from soft shell to hard shell which made me stop ordering it. Hard shell breakfast tacos are just odd to me.

PRICE: this place isn’t cheap, but I would say nowhere in north loop really is. Most dishes range from $13-$18 I would say and drinks start around $12.

SERVICE: I’ve had hit or miss service here, but when it’s good it’s really good! Flip side is when it’s bad…it’s really bad and you feel neglected. Luck of the draw I guess.

ATMOSPHERE: It’s super modern, bright, and light.

Always coming here for happy hour – $5 cosmos are fantastic! The fries and dip are off of the happy hour menu now but the servers still let us order them and they’re fantastic. Definitely my favorite happy hour spot in North Loop.

Went to Nolo’s for Sunday brunch. Nice atmosphere, lovely window seat, ample parking in the area, great wait person although they did not come back to wipe up coffee that they spilled while pouring my second cup. A bit underwhelmed by the avocado toast as the mashed avocado should be warmed a bit so that the eggs and avocado are warm when they get to the table. Good bread and a tasty cinnamon bun but way too much caramel sauce poured over it. A drizzle would have been nice rather than a soaking as the bun was good on its own. Prosecco was flat but taste was good. If I go again I’ll ask for these changes and I think I’d be very pleased with it.

Came here for a work HH, so I didn’t take any pictures, but Nolo’s happy hour is a MUST!

The atmosphere here is modern and chic, with a bright and clean feel while still being in a warehouse/warehouse district and bringing those vibes. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful!

If you’re coming here for happy hour drinks, I’d recommend the cosmo or the espresso martini. You can’t go wrong with a delicious cosmo – but the espresso martinis here are delicious! I’ve had a strong/rancid one before so I often get nervous ordering them from new places, but Nolo’s is my new go-to espresso martini! It’s creamy and strong, with a bold coffee flavor.

We ordered a few appetizers to share – and we were not disappointed! My tried

Visited on 9/2/22. Okay never again would I recommend/get the combination of an espresso martini and a happy hour sandwich that resembled a hamburger but that’s a me ordering problem and each of these things were absolutely DELICIOUS in their own respects. I came here for a happy hour and greatly enjoyed the espresso martinis. My espresso martini actually got my friend ordering one of his own. The happy hour smashwich consisted of beef smashed between two slices of white bread with American cheese with mayo added (not too dissimilar from a patty melt). This came with fries which was a great deal on happy hour for $9. The loaded fries tasted great, hard not to love bacon bits and chives. Overall this was my first happy hour at NOLO’s and I would definitely come back.

Food is generally really good and ambience offers a fun, energetic vibe.

Been here a few times for brunch and dinner. The salads are really good. I’ve tried both the Caesar salad with cauliflower and the apple pecan salad. Both are very flavorful and I’d come here just for the salads.

The cheeseburger is one of our favorites in the twin cities. My husband and I split a burger and order one of their yummy salads to try to get some greens. Prices are really reasonable given you’re in the North Loop.

Their pizza is fabulous…there’s something really good about the flavor even though it looks so basic. Where I think the food is not as compelling? It would be the brunch options. Nothing bad, just nothing memorable.

Overall, would recommend. The restaurant is crazy busy for brunch. Easier to get in at night, especially on Sundays.

Great cocktails and fun restaurant! Definitely lives up to it’s reputation. We had tacos as appetizer and they were super delicious. All the food portions were large and we didn’t have room for dessert. Service was great even though there were two very large parties going on. Note: I tried to reserve a table on line but when I called and spoke to someone the day before, they were able to accommodate us. I was so grateful as I had out of town visitors who had never been to Minnesota in town for only one night. They both loved the food and the atmosphere and said they would be back soon!
