The food and service is sooooo good! The servers are so kind and welcoming. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant ran by people you want to know. This quickly became our favorite sushi/Japanese restaurant. See you again soon!

This place reminds me of my mama’s home cooking! Their KatsuDon taste exactly like my mom made it! Anytime I need a reminder of home or my mommy, I come here to eat! She’s been deceased for a couple of years, so the food is a welcome memory!

Nagato is very good Japanese American food.There Sushi rolls are on point.The Miso soup is dope.Classy but not overstated.This place would be a good spot for a first date. They have a lot of options to choose from.Everything is prepared with care in a casual quite environment.Service is good and owner Don even took the time to chat with me.
This is has been our favorite Japanese restaurant in Sacramento for many years. Good food at a reasonable price. Nagato is family owned and operated and it shows in the quality of the food they serve.
