The food is decent. I enjoyed the salsa and the chips were good. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla with pico. The shrimp was good but the pico tasted old. The rice was a little dry but the beans were good. I would come back here but it would not be my first option.

The first time I was in there, it wasn’t bad. Also ordered two taco’s and they were larger than Taco Bells and better tasting. So I ordered 2 Taco’s this time and they brought out 2 Taco’s that were the exact same size as Taco Bell and 2 of them cost $9 and change. I don’t appreciate being done that way and won’t be back.
I ordered 5 tacos only received 4. When tried to call them to make them aware so I could get the other taco I paid for nobody answered. Called several times and no answer. Won’t be back.
This place is SO good. Authentic Mexican food for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly, and are always wearing masks. They are taking COVID precautions very seriously. Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
I usually enjoy Mi Toros. However the last time I ate here my waiter was really rude to me and my friends. The food is okay but the attitudes are not.
I use to love eating here but they changed Management and it’s been down hill since then. Takes 15 minutes just to have a waiter come get your drink order. And the food tastes like anything but fresh. Just not even worth the trouble anymore.
this place is absolutely terrible. terrible service and the food isn’t good. rice is too salty and shrimp is very fishy
Great food, fast service. Best Mexican restaurant in the golden triangle! The Christy chicken and rice is a favorite amongst my kiddos. I honestly haven’t had a bad meal here to date. I go more than I should lol. Many of the “area” restaurants have had less than stellar cleaning staff. I know first hand that this place is top notch on cleanliness. Give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
Mi Toro is pretty standard Tex-Mex fare, but it’s tasty and comes at a good price, and service is always fast and friendly. The beans that come with most meals and the tortillas are all pretty good. The chips are great, and while the salsa is very mild, that’s to be expected given where you are, and you can always add hot sauce for a little kick.
The last time I went, I had the camarones chipotle; the shrimp were a little overcooked and rubbery, but the sauce was good enough that I could overlook it. It had a good level of spice to it and was delicious. Don’t come here expecting the most authentic or high-quality cuisine, but for what it is, Mi Toro’s food is pretty good.
