the rudest people i have ever encountered, do NOT recommend whatsoever, try a diff restaurant
My kids fav dosas are from here. Service is ok…. Staff is in a Crazy rush there always but polite. Long lines to order then a bit to wait but worth it. We keep going back. 🙂
Indian. Get it if you like it. Nothing fancy as far as the ambiance, but it makes me like it here more. This is my go to when I’m hungry and need something to eat. I’d like to say “when I want Indian food,” but I always want Indian food
Ordered several times. Chicken Tikka Masala, lentil soup, and naan. Always delicious.
One of the worst customer service I seen. The coffee did not taste like coffee and the cleanup lady threw the plates from other tables making noise that made us feel like unwanted guests. It was not even closing time. We did not enjoy the bajji which was more like biscuit – very hard and we doubt that it was fried more than once. Super unhappy with the restaurant
It was alright! Food was good! Atmosphere was alright. I will keep looking for the best spot to grab Indian cuisine in Ann Arbor and probably won’t be back here but would still recommend it to someone who is already downtown and looking for Indian cuisine
We had a nice lunch here. Wasn’t as spicy as we hoped but we are used to places being cautious with these requests. Staff very attentive and friendly.
Service is pretty fast. But the restaurant is always a bit of a mess and most items are average with the exception of the tikka masala items.
I ordered the gobi manchurian and the paneer tikka masala. They did not disappoint.
Not a big fan of the onion uttapam as it turned dry quickly.
Bindi masala was light on salt.
Chilli paneer was a bit overwhelming in flavor after a couple bites. It was quite gummy as well.
MM paneer masala was lacking in flavor compared to the paneer tikka masala.
Baingan bharta – has smoky flavor but very bland otherwise.
Gobi vindaloo – tastes like tomato purée, vinegar and chili mixed together. Teeth will take a beating with all the vinegar they pack in there. Also, the potatoes were undercooked and the cauliflower was a bit tough. Yikes!
Paneer kulcha – paneer inside was tough and stale. Onion kulcha is a safer bet!
Extremely Disrespectful and prejudiced potentially will never return. Called ahead was told food will be ready in 25 minutes. Once I arrived, they told me to sit and wait a few minutes for my food which was over 15 additional minutes to find out the order was never put in. Instead of saying hey, we messed up, the guy acted as if nothing had happened.
This place used to be super good. They took my favorite dish off the menu which is a major bummer. If you are sensitive to spice I would order no spice, mild is still extremely spicy. I was disappointed with my paneer biryani, the paneer was spongy and tasted bland like tofu, and the rice tasted just like super spicy plain rice. Bummer, I miss the eggplant fried rice.
