Diner spot usually packed with college students. Fun and zany decor. Food is ok, greasy and kinda heavy but passable after a night out. I got basic eggs, toast, and fries. When it’s full, service can be a bit slow.

I definitely recommend this place for takeout because the food is good and affordable! Would not recommend dining in because it’s a bit cramped and chaotic.

Great breakfast plates at affordable prices. My wife’s favorite eggs over-easy, home fries and toast.

Nice cozy vibe inside, very lowkey. Prices are super low (bacon egg and cheese was only $4 and it was filling). Lots of college kids here too, it’s a great spot for a quick bite if you don’t know where to go for breakfast in Providence.

We were surprised at this cozy little bistro packed with Brown University students, but the food and the vibe were both outstanding.  I had the chocolate chip pancakes which were nice and fluffy along with being packed full of chocolate chips.  My husband had the meatball omelet along with a bowl of grits which he stated was really good.  Other than that, they had a good menu with anything you could want for any meal although they are only open during breakfast and lunch hours.  Way to go!!

Popular because it’s open at awkward hours and has a “diner” vibe that you won’t find elsewhere on College Hill. It’s more of your neighborhood junkyard esthetic. It’s generally cleaned though. But don’t be fooled. The food ruins whatever is “okay” about the atmosphere.

It’s simply awful. The average amateur cook can make any dish (or drink) they offer much better. “Homefries” are soggy and bland, “bacon” is floppy and cold, “toast” is stale… and the eggs? Oh my god! How hard is it to make a soft boiled egg? I got it smushed in a cup with half an eggshell still hanging on. Not exaggerating. Literally half! And of course it was cold.

The only reason to go here is if you’re starving in the middle of the night and not near home. Won’t ever go here again unless I REALLY have to.

Been coming here for years and always mean to review. My go to is the Drink Johnny. It’s simple in the most perfect way. Tasty  corned beef crispy onions and cheese. Make sure you try the homemade hot sauce (It’s incredible) Pretty much a spicy catsup with deep flavor. If you like hot sauce on your eggs I 100% guarantee you’ll love it. I get pancakes ones in a while and they are very good as well. I’d give 5 stars if not for the home fries. Which may be more of a personal thing. I like them crispy and there’s aren’t. You can ask for well done home fries and 50% of the time they’ll nail it. The other 50% will be a mix of over done, slightly burnt, and perfect pieces.  The Drunk Johnny and Pancakes are worth a visit for sure!

I went there with two of friends today. The lady that took ate was very helpful and Recommended a lot of the good food they have which was eggplant parm, spinach pie parm, and BBQ raviolis. am guessing she was the cook because she went back to cooking our food, which she did a really good job at. This is my only complaint about the place. The waitress that brought our food over to our table, had hair armpits. Which that fine but if you work with food and the Customers she may want to put a shirt on that doesn’t show it when she Reaches for the plates or giving them to the customer…  don’t mean to sound like a bad person about bring this up but just my opinion…

Probably one of my least favorite places that I’ve tried in Providence. I gave it three chances, but the food was consistently extremely greasy (to the point where my takeout bag was dripping with oil). It took almost 10 napkins to get all the dripping oil off the food. I tried the fish and chips and home fries twice, but definitely will not be back. It’s a shame because the restaurant itself is a cute mom and pop place, and it’s a family owned local diner. Maybe it’s convenient if you’re a college student who wants a late night meal, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.
