Gorgeous rooftop setting and great greeting from hotel and restaurant staff. Food was really terrible though. After getting an avocado hummus appetizer which was mainly vinegar, we shared a lamb entree. The lamb was really good but probably a quarter pound. the grilled tomato had the same strong vinegar flavor. Too bad we spent money on nice wine since it was hard to get the taste of the vinegar out of our mouths. Go for the beautiful rooftop setting. Skip the high priced and inedible food.
Service is terrible. Our waitress knew nothing about the menu. We asked her question. She literally said she didn’t know (and didn’t try to find out). Ordered the chocolate molten cake for dessert with vanilla ice cream. We asked if it’s hot, she said yes ( I mean it should be, but everything else was subpar, so we wanted to make sure ). The cake came out cold couldn’t even eat it because the chocolate inside was hard. Worst service for an expensive restaurant. Do not come here. Our waitress also had an attitude.
Horrible customer service ..young inexperienced staff
With no regard for top shelf service … I’ve been treated better at In And Out !!!!
We ate here last week on a work trip and had a great experience….the only hiccup was a little slow service but outside of that all was good. We sat outside and had a great view of the city and mountains and I would argue that it might be one of the nicest views of the city. For starter we had the crispy artichoke hearts, flatbread pizza and avocado hummus. Each of these were super delicious and would be hard to say which was my favorite, but the crispy artichoke hearts were pretty special. they were cooked like a crispy brussel sprout and really loved them. With that being said the prosciutto and mushroom flatbread was equally delicious. For dinner I had the crispy salmon with rice. Solid salmon dinner cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. Really great overall experience and would highly recommend Level 5 for any visitor or local looking for a great roof top restaurant.
Tons of people working there yet terrible service! Two hosts
The service was good , the idea of the food was amazing but was not tasty was missing love the agnolotti was not agnolotti was a frozen ravioli the hummus its was it is, and the enchilada salad was not tasty
First time at Level 5, it was a little underwhelming to be honest. I was super excited to come based on other people’s recommendation. While the food was excellent, the service was maybe a 2/5, we waited over an hour on a Thursday for a table, but once we were seated it took probably another 20 minutes to order and probably 40 minutes by the time we got the food. The flat bread we had as an appetizer was amazing, and the salmon entree was great minus the blue rice. The view was probably as good as you can get in Albuquerque, but it is perfect for a date night.
First time at Level 5 and I can definitely say it was definitely a great place to have a nice dinner. We couldn’t make a reservation because we weren’t staying at the hotel, so when we got there, they had a 45 minute wait. The host let us know we could go wait at the bar downstairs so we did.
After 45ish minutes we got a text that our table was ready so we went on upstairs and were seated right away. The table hadn’t been bussed yet but the host came back and bussed it for us after apologizing for the inconvenience. The server took 5-10 minutes to come and take our drink orders and we were able to put in our food order when she brought them back.
The specialty drinks are so good! I got a Sandia Sunset and my boyfriend got a Turquoise Trail. They were super tasty and we would’ve ordered more if asked! We shared a flatbread, which was delicious and I got the chicken dish as my entrée. The chicken was small but flavorful and the sauce it came with was divine!
It was a great experience because they have a wonderful view and great signature dishes! The only recommendation I would have would be to allow people not staying at the hotel to make a reservation.
We are staying at hotel. Very nice service experience so far. Front desk and valet both shined. It is our first wedding anniversary so we splurged for the romance package with late check out at 2pm. At 11:45am we decided to walk around hotel and take some pictures (it is beautiful). We wander up to the Level 5 restaurant. I wanted a margarita. We had our little dog with us and although the front desk said she was welcome anywhere we hesitated taking her in. There were people at tables inside. We saw no staff to ask. We walk outside on the patio. It is sweltering hot. There is a tiny shade spot on corners of outdoor sofas so I grab one of those with my dog and my husband goes in to get a drink for me. No one ever acknowledges him as he stands at the bar. He said wait staff is walking around. It is about 12:15pm (they close at 1pm). He takes a picture of the tequila they have and comes back to show me. Now there is a staff member standing at host stand outside door of restaurant. He asks if we can bring our dog in-they say yes. We walk in and sit at an empty table. Not expecting miracles (wait staff to acknowledge us) he goes up to bar to ask for a drink where once again he is ignored. He goes out to staff member at host stand for a menu for an appetizer and she informs him last call for food has already past…it is now 12:20 (close at 1pm). I guess they have no chips and salsa. I wouldn’t know since I never saw a menu. There are wait staff (3-4 people) walking around, helping other tables or clearing and re-setting tables. But no one even looks our way. My husband goes to the bar for a third time. Finally he is asked if he needs something. He asks for a margarita. They tell him they are only serving Bloody Mary’s and mimosas…we leave and get back on elevator to go back to our room. Elevators at hotel won’t let you go to guest floors without your room key to activate that. That’s when we found our room key was deactivated already because we couldn’t go to our floor. So my husband went to front desk to get key re-activated and went ahead and grabbed a cart so we left then.
This place has a really good filet and amazing signature drinks! The only thing is that the hostesses always seem a bit snooty
