The Philly cheesesteak is delicious! Super great size too. Highly recommend using a fork and a knife with it!
Great place to go when your starving at 2 AM. Had the Ruben it was pretty good considering I was raised ion Omaha black stone hotel. I’ll be back on a late night food binge!
I love that this place is 24 hours, makes it easy to get a late night snack. I love their breakfast foods. One of my favorite sandwiches is the French dip. Cheese curds/crisps are to die for!
Incredible service very polite. Food was amazing. It reminded what a real Dilly should be the ambience was great. It almost like a movie sad it was so nice.
The Worst!
I ordered meals to be delivered by Uber eats to my friends, staying in Houston and visiting their daughter in a hospital. I wanted them to have Katz deli for Thanksgiving, especially having the turkey and dressing option. The meal was delivered, and there was no dressing only the turkey which was plain and dry. No sides. Wilted Salad and the other orders were incomplete. I called and spoke to the restaurant and the general manager. assured me I could re-order again paying Uber eats fees and he would ensure the new order would be better And mail me a gift card.
Unfortunately, the second delivery was just as bad.
$$140 later… my poor
Family had a bad meal.
I am very disappointed. Especially sad for the family who had to spend Thanksgiving in a hospital. Very disappointing in KATZ.
One of the most meh and overpriced options in Houston. The only draw is that it’s open 24 hours, literally only go here if every other option is closed
I cane here with a group of four and had a great experience. The woman who greeted us noticed our gift bags and tipped us off to let our server know we were celebrating a birthday so the birthday girl could get a birthday sundae. And our server was great, accommodating our requests for things like plates for sharing cake and answering our menu questions.
I tried:
– Potato skins appetizer (6 in an order with sour cream on the side)
– Deluxe vegetarian reuben on rye – the bread was excellent, just the right amount of toastiness and so flavorful
I definitely want to come back and try their cheesecake!
Kat’z food was great it was my second time there but I couldn’t remember my first. Anyways the service was great the waiter was a bit slow but overall it was good.The ambiance reminded me of a New York style deli.
The prices here are offensive. $21 (tax/tip) for a sandwich, no drink or chips). Sandwich was good, but size should have been twice the size for that amount of dough, no pun intended. Kenny and Ziggys is way better value… you’ll still spend $21, but you can’t barely finish half.
Don’t bother going to this new location have not been to the old one while. This one is new, beautiful, nice patio. However the Reuben sandwich that we had was a poor excuse as it was mostly sauerkraut. The classic should be A lot of meat along with the sauerkraut. When I ask for extra dressing because I like a lot on mine. I was charged $.89 plus tax on the check but was not informed of this at the time of the order. Very very disappointed. They charge almost 4 dollars for a soft drink and it says refills available. Again! Was completely done eating down to the last bite before waitress ever came and that was after me flagging them down and waiting for them to finish wiping tables to come out and refill the glass. If you wanna great Ruben sandwich, Without having to pay extra for potatoes and drinks refills try the toasted yolk. Much much better Ruben like the” old katz style
