The Godzilla Attack burger tasted amazing. The portion size is huge. The interior was kinda dirty and dusty so I’d probably get takeout next time.

The food is good, the menu has a nice variety, and the service is super fast and reliable! I would say the amount of food you get for the average entree is a solid value for the price, but the portion size and price are a bit higher than I would have wanted personally and it seems like most of the menu is that way. The croquets are a great side to get with any sandwich, but they’re really big so it makes sense as a sharing thing.

My biggest complaint is just that they don’t give enough katsu sauce with each order. Of course they’ll give more if you ask, but I feel like it should be kind of like ketchup at a burger place where it’s free flowing.

Delicious Katsu burger and they are huge! This place has different variety of burgers to choose from and can be modified to your liking. I ordered the pork Katsu burger and the beef and pork. Fries here were a must and had a range of seasoning to pick from — i decided on the 5 spice and it was very interesting!

I would recommend eating the Katsu while it’s fresh off the grill so you can get the crunch of the Katsu. My pork burger did get a little soggy toward the end but that was due to the sauce that was in it.

I do wish the beef Katsu had a little more flavor to it. I couldn’t tell the difference between the beef and pork lol

Service here was good. There are limited parking here so be prepared to walk a litttle if you are not able to find one right in the front.

I passed by a few times and was curious, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Yum! Pleasantly surprised. Not really cheap once you add on other stuff but very good sandwich and fries.

Katsu Burger took a while to grow on me.  My initial view was that there is never a time where I find myself torn between wanting a hamburger or wanting Americanized Japanese food.  This remains true – Katsu burger will never satisfy a craving for an old fashioned cheeseburger, nor will it satisfy a craving for cheap Seattle teriyaki.  But if you want something unique that will also be quite filling, Katsu Burger fits the bill.

My personal favorite is the Godzilla Attack Burger, but having tried many of their other burgers I can’t say there is a weak spot on the menu.  It should be noted that the burgers are huge – the most basic item on their menu with a side of fries will be more than enough for the most voracious of eaters.  As you move up the menu to the more expensive items, the burgers become absurdly proportioned.  These larger menu items are not things you eat because they taste good (though they do) – they are things you eat because you have something to prove.  One friend, a notorious glutton, made an attempt at their largest hamburger.  While he was able to finish it, he nonetheless spent the remainder of the day looking like he had been inseminated by xenomorphs.

Overall, very tasty food.  Though this review is for the Capitol Hill location because I have been to that spot the most, I have also tried the SoDo location and it is consistent in taste and quality with the Capitol Hill location.  I can only assume the same holds true for other locations.

The classic Katsu curry burger was great! I would’ve done without the cheese in hindsight. Also, the fries with the multiple spices seasoning were delicious, especially with the ranch.

The atmosphere inside katsu burger has a very chill vibe to it with its artsy walls and lantern lighting. I tried the Ninja deluxe burger with pork and the burger portion itself is very generous and huge! The katsu itself was cooked to perfection with it being crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The nori fries were okay, but it didn’t blow me away.

I would rate this a solid 3.5 but going to round up because the service was prompt and friendly. I came here with a coworker for lunch and had the teriyaki katsu sandwich which came with the sauce, pineapple, cabbage, tomato and I ask for no onion. The cutlet was perfectly fried and a really thick slice which was nice. What I didn’t like was the teriyaki sauce, it just had this strong flavor that didn’t mesh well with me. The bun was also really boring and didn’t enhance the burger in any way. My friend got the Godzilla burger and really enjoyed his.

We also shared the 12 spice fries and these were super yummy! The spices were a relatable blend of sweet and spicy. Definitely order these!

For dipping sauces I went with the miso honey mustard and chipotle mayo. The honey mustard was overly sweet and the miso in my opinion just didn’t work. The chipotle Mayo tasted like plain mayo.

The prices are reasonable and the food is prepared fast and fresh. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for something different and in the area.
