Delicious food and drinks and ice cream!
I purchased an ice cream cake on a stick. What goodness!!! The ice cream in it was espresso flavored; turned out I got a caffeine boost from it, too. What a refreshing treat.
1st off, you could not ask for a better location. Dead smack in the middle of main town Artist district. Directly next to a hotel and other venues. Parking will be a challenge for sure depending on the time of day. As for the food, simply delightful. Our waiter John was a pleasant balance of accommodating requests and attentive as needed. Portions were just right. Very clean modern San Francisco-esk appearance. Remember, the Hub ice cream across the street is an affiliated brand. We will be returning for sure.
This place has a chill atmosphere and really delicious food. The Elote pasta was the standout. Nice place to bring the family or a date. Parking is a bit tricky since it’s downtown. Expect to use a parking garage on a busy weekend night. Service was okay.
I been really looking forward to eat at the Hub and I can’t say the food was bad, but not really a wow factor or I need to come back any time soon. The NY steak did not have much flavor and there enchiladas was ok but chicken pretty dried but the cilantro lime rice and there appetizers mac and cheese with bacon was really good rice was perfectly cooked and perfect zest.
Great restaurant and excellent place to watch games at the bar. We had the enchiladas and the Mac and cheese which were both great. The mac and cheese had bacon and onions and it was even better as leftovers the next day. The restaurant is a big size and there would’ve been a little wait had we not gone to the bar but definitely worth the wait
Really great burgers. The hub burger was A LOT but really good.. the pastrami on top of the burger was very yummy. Drinks were good and our server was very nice. Overall a great place.
Ice cream selection was great and the spoon changes color! Hubby liked the homemade pasta. The bun of my lamb burger was cold but meat was OK. Drink was so so.
Very nice ambiance, you have the option of sitting inside, or outside, there are heaters outside! Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had the best Mac and Cheese (I’m a connoisseur of mac and cheese) with chicken and scallions, it was VERY tasty! We also had the special, egg nog custard, that was off the hook!! I highly recommend going there!
Vibrant downtown eatery, with a slight flair of urban sophistication. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They had Johnny Walker Blue Label at the bar, which already gained about a thousand cool points right out the gate. The menu featured an outstanding lamb burger! The firecracker shrimp were on point. And it offered the option of tater tots as a side as opposed to your standard french fries. Didn’t have enough room for the unique ice cream flavors they had at their ice cream bar. But maybe we’ll get that next time. Great experience eating at The Hub!
