Been there twice and unable to catch it open.   Second time was in a Saturday at 2 and they were already closed.  Sign said they closed at 3.  Oh well. So we went to another establishment.   Will try again sometime in the future maybe.

This is a super cute place! The staff is excellent and sweet. I can’t remember her name, but she was absolutely wonderful. She was able to describe many menu items and answer all of our questions. The food came out quick and tastes fresh and delicious! The cook even came out and made sure we were enjoying everything. This little spot is worth your time and taste buds!

We went recently for our first visit on a Friday night. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the décor as it is a touch eclectic. I have to say overall I have a mixed reaction.
We started with a honey flight with chutney, cheese and crackers and was asked by the server about upgrading from cream cheese to goat cheese. I Love goat cheese and was very glad that she had offered. This app could be one of my new favorite apps in Springfield. The chutney was delicious and with the variety of honey we chose, it was like six different apps on one plate… WE LOVED THIS!

We followed the app up with fried chicken, mashed potato, gravy and corn bread. Our chicken was moist and tender but it had way to much crust on it for me and not enough meaty chicken. Also the mashed potatoes were very dense and heavy as was the gravy which had a unique seasoning to it. The cornbread was pretty basic as was the peach waffle dessert.

While most of the great comments are coming from the breakfast crowd, I think I am going to have to visit again for a little breakfast. However I strongly suggest you go in for the honey flight as it is a real unique experience in these parts and quite tasty.

Saw writeup in local magazine 417, so we gave it a try. I do not understand the good reviews. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and was very disappointed. Menu stated on a Hoagie roll, looked more like a hotdog bun. Had about 3oz of meat. Was nothing special. I give the waitress credit she wanted to do what she could to please me, but the value was not there. My wife and I will not be back.

So disappointed….my husband’s “Belgian” waffle was the size of an Eggo waffle with 3 or 4 pieces of pineapple on it. My eggs were a bit underdone and even though other reviewers raved about the gravy, I found it to be lacking in any flavor but peppery. On the upside….bacon was good and potatoes were tasty…..we will probably not go there again.

I stopped by this place because I had nothing better to do and simply because its near by. Its very small, they are open from 07:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m. Their staff are very friendly and polite. I went there for lunch with my family and we had some really good food. We had some of their sandwiches which were very delicious and really good. What I like about this place they use local meats, eggs, make their own spices, infused honey chocolates and other fares. We had some of their sandwiches and home made potato chips. We had one of their desserts which was really delicious. This a really great place to go and relax with family and/or friends. (Yes, I have those). If you want to go out and get away, well go no further than Chesterfield Village and enjoy local fare and it will not disappoint. They have really good foods and also sell other items such as spices, desserts, etc. Come out and support this cute little eatery. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Hope to see you there.

The issue with restaurants these days is that their offerings are expected. If you’re interested in innovative menu offerings with unexpected twists, this is the place for you. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful local ingredients. Chef mixed honey selection and home town service. Small cafe type setting with friendly staff and small well thought out dishes. Wonderful lavender tea. I recommend the steak strips with any of the toppings. The breakfast menu is next on my to try list along with the chicken with the buffalo topping. I want to try all the combinations really.

Stopped in this cute little eatery/storefront for lunch today.  Not only was the staff friendly and welcoming, but the food was fantastic!  They utilize local ingredients and a lot of love to make their dishes.  Had lunch and dessert, both my wife and I were very impressed with our food!  We even took home a dozen farm fresh local eggs!  I highly recommend that you give this place a chance the next time you are in Chesterfield Village, and looking for some great food!
