The food is amazing the prices reflect the quality of service and food ..this a must have in Rochester…

I am a Rochester, NY native and was back in town for a wedding this weekend. I decided to dine solo for dinner at Grappa for a busy Friday night. I was greeted by two friendly hostesses upon arrival. The service and restaurant were impeccable. In particular, Kris, Sarah, and Lindsey were spot on with taking care of my every need. How they treat customers is WELL ABOVE the standard dining expectation. I will say this is the best experience as a solo diner I have experienced in years. I had the Fettuccine carbonara (absolutely incredible). If you want a delicious dinner with exceptional service I 100% recommend this restaurant. A SINCERE THANK YOU to each and every employee that who works here! The world needs more of you all! Happy holidays!!

Met friends here for the first time. Place was nice, very clean, the staff was friendly. We first sat at a table and was told since it was happy hour we would have to order the specials from the bar. The host was kind and told us if we wanted to move to the bar that was fine. So we did. The bartender was friendly and made some great drinks off the happy hour menu. I got the Manhattan Nero, which was a combo of whiskey, cherry and chocolate.. sounds crazy but was surprisingly delicious. My friends got the Cosmopolitan Bianca, tasted like a good lemoncello drink.
We shared a white pizza which had a garlic beschamel sauce with herbs, ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan. It’s was very tasty for not having anything else extra added to it. The pizza dough was light, soft and airy but with a crispy bottom. I would definitely get this again but will probably add some toppings to it. We also shared an order of potato fries with a spiced honey dipping sauce. My friends really enjoyed it. I thought it was ok. To me it was sweet with sweet. I would of liked maybe a savory dipping sauce. Overall we had a good experience. I will definitely go back.

I attended a work dinner at this restaurant. We had our own private room with one long table on the side of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a mid to upscale feel. Service was excellent and attentive. I had several items including the bruschetta board with prosciutto which was excellent. For my starter, I had the kale salad. This was wonderfully flavorful and beautifully plated though the carrot was difficult to eat. I enjoyed the dressing and the crunch of the chickpeas. For my entree, I tried the bolognese. This was beautifully plated and the pasta was well cooked; I have no complaints. For dessert, I tried the cheesecake. This was wonderful! Fresh whipped cream and berries really made this a treat. I also appreciated the attention to detail (noticing if we needed to go boxes, refilling waters, placing wine bottles in chilled containers when appropriate). I had an excellent overall experience here.

The food was great and the bar tenders Sydnee and Kaylee were amazing!  We had a lovely evening.
