I’ve been eating at Firehouse subs since 2005 when I lived in Florida and was in college. It has long been my favorite hot sub place and was stoked when they made it to the west coast. I’ve been visiting the Riverside location frequently and it’s just as good as I remember. The ingredients are always fresh and cooked how it should be. The staff here are always friendly and work hard and do a good job. Keep up the good work. Sorry to buy all your pickle buckets the other day, lol. 🙂
This place is delicious. However, check your order for accuracy! One of the enjoyments of ordering here is something offered, as they ask you if you would like a pickle. Now, I know they’re just pickles, but drove more than half way across town to get takeout from here and they did not provide the pickles. This was absolutely annoying, but I will know from now on to check my order for accuracy next time.
Friendly staff and restaurant itself is super clean.
Plenty of parking here but can be limited on weekends. A population boba cafe is next door, as well as a delicious taco establishment, so parking may be tricky.
Came in for my free birthday sub and sis’s energy was already off. Grunting and slamming things around while making my sub. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Yikes. From the look of my sub it looks ok, haven’t tried it yet. I had to instantly leave a review on her rude service. I just suggest better customer service if this is where you reside for work.
Thank you Firehouse Subs! The food was fresh and everyone working there today was so warm, kind and loving. We’ve been living here a year and haven’t explored much. We decided to try it. It was delicious and the service is amazing. We received a warm welcome right when we walked in. My family and I enjoyed the subs and the delicious macaroni. We will be back soon!
Recently did a catering order. The manager was very accommodating, everything went smoothly. Everyone was happy with the lunch boxes that were served. Will definitely keep them on the list of preferred caterer.
I came here on my birthday for the free medium sub, I was having a rough work day but the smiles on the faces of workers lightens my mood. The manager was so nice she took my order told me happy birthday and as I was leaving even sang to me while walking out! The crew in the back joined in and it was the cutest thing. On top of that the sandwich looked and tasted amazing! I’ve came here a few times and each time I leave with a smile, this is how a business should make you feel you can tell the workers are happy to be there! I love supporting a business that cares about their employees!
Ordered online and waited 10 min before finally going up to ask where my order was. They told me they ran out of ham for a sandwich and I asked for roast beef as a substitute…and they wanted to charge me extra for it. Ridiculous that I would have to pay for something that was not my fault and they didn’t even notify us and THEN wait much longer than my order ready time (20 min past).
Won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.

I’ll give you guys a one star! So disappointing!!! Ordered the firehouse pair New York steamer
First time here nothing special about it. Sandwich makers don’t greet you when you walk in. I ordered a sandwich they don’t have avocado. They said Mayo would be on sandwich cause that’s how it’s made and when I got back to my office it wasn’t on there. I let Brandon the manager know he apologized and offered a remake. He seems nice and enthusiastic he need a a better team.
