Dos Hermanos is my go-to choice for great Mexican food in the Twin Cities metro. My husband and I are regulars at this point, and whenever friends or family come to visit, this is the spot that we take them out to eat!

Make sure to visit on Tuesdays for their amazing Taco Tuesday deals: 3 street tacos for $8, and 2 for 1 house margaritas! (The margaritas are HUGE, btw). All of their pork tacos are amazing- the carnitas are tender and full of flavor, the chorizo is spicy and smoky, and the slow-cooked al pastor will make you throw your taco down in awe of the flavors that you are tasting!! You can never go wrong with ordering the street tacos.

I also love their fajitas! My favorites include the Hawaiian Fajita, Piña Dos Hermanos, and the Special Fajitas for Two! You get a great value for all of them, especially the Special Fajitas for Two- a big portion of food that’s great to split with another person. The Fajita Bowl is another item that I love if I’m looking for something a little healthier. Packed with fresh ingredients and a great, hearty meal.

For appetizers, I’d definitely recommend any of the nachos or queso fundidos. Absolutely delicious! They also have great burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and combo meals. I have yet to try something on the menu that I didn’t like!!

I’d highly recommend Dos Hermanos for great Mexican food in the Twin Cities. The service is very good and the quality of food and the value that you get for it is fantastic. The restaurant is frequently busy but I’ve never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a table. You can also sign up for their email list, and once a month they send coupons with great deals! 5 stars for Dos Hermanos Mexican Grill

Visited Dos Hermanos on the way to the Vivaldi quartet concert at the Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens. I ordered the Fiesta burrito but was unimpressed with the flavor and presentation. My friend who ordered the Santa Fe Fajitas loved her meal. My husband specifially asked for cheddar cheese on his burrito and the waitress seemed confused by the request and his order arrived without said cheese. Our other tablemate asked for extra sour cream and it never arrived. Overall a ho-hum experience.

Great menu options however, very disappointing meal. The spicy margarita was not spicy at all. The food was not flavorful like an authentic Mexican restaurant, when you think Mexican food you expect the flavors to be exciting to your taste buds and these items lacked spice!!!! Will not be visiting again.

Unfortunately, the service and management is poorly executed here. The server was not friendly and very judgmental toward how much you order by making inappropriate comments. The point of going to a restaurant is to buy food! The server even ignored other people at our table and forgot to take people’s orders. Very unprofessional. When addressed with the manager, they were just as invalidating. Food is only OK, not worth the trip and money.

Came back to this location to find the quality of service gone bad. We went on a Wednesday night when it was empty and our server completely ignored our table. We saw him talking and laughing with the other staff but neglected to come get our order. He was very judgmental because he commented on the amount of food we ordered, and completely ignored one of us when taking food orders. We had to remind him that he forgot one order. We can order anything we want since we are paying for it all, and we don’t have to finish the food if we don’t want to. Besides, the bigger the order, the bigger the tip at the end. Wouldn’t it benefit you to have a larger order? Common sense. He gave me a dirty look for initial saying hi to him in English, so I switched over to Spanish and communicated with him our order.

We talked to the manager and the server claimed it was a “misunderstanding due to the language barrier” but that was a lie. I spoke to him in Spanish and ordered our food in Spanish. Manager just said “sorry if we felt insulted” and offered to give us a $10 gift card but we left at that point. We will not be doing business with them anymore.

First off, the vibes here are immaculate. Great music! Queso was to die for, chips warm plates SO hot please be careful. We got a large margarita for the price of a medium and got lunch special number 6. Side of beans was delicious, I’d get 8 more if I could. I’ll be back me amore

Great food and all but they charged me 10 extra dollars after I checked my bank account. I tipped 5 dollars with the total ending up to be $65 but they charged me $75.

Forget the tip, I don’t care. What I care is the people there being honest and respectful. They probably scribbled out my 65 and put 75 after I left which I do not appreciate. Like I said, I don’t care about the money anymore, more so, it’s about the integrity, respect and honesty you provide for your customers. I didn’t appreciate that at all so I’m pretty disappointed. Didn’t bother to give them a call back because it’s not worth the trouble but yes, I will write my review.

Stopped here because we liked the former Mexican restaurant located here. All I can say is we liked it before and now it’s even better. So happy we stopped and definitely stop again.
