Now I am going to start out by saying that up North we dont fool around with Denny’s. However this one was right across the street within walking distance of my Hotel so I said, what the heck I may as well give them a try. The locals seem to love them so I said why not. I can say that I was happy with my choice to try them out. I want to say that my cashiers name was stanley and he is pleasant as can be. If thats not his name then my bad. I ordered breakfast from there as well as burger and a salad on a separate occassion. The omlettes and the burgers are really good. They have that all american diner feel. I can say that with the food quality combined with the prices and the customer service it is defintitely a great place to come grab a quick meal for dine in or to grab take out. I also love the fact that they have online ordering which makes things super convenient.
The Dennys in Oakland Park is the worst Dennys that I have even been in. First they tell you to get the birthday bonus you need to go on the website to get it. There is nothing on the website that says that to sign up for it. Its confusing and not one person in the place knew how to go on the website to do it. We waited 28 minutes and still no black coffee and water was brought to the table. I guess they figured these two are in here to get some free food so we will not serve them, and we left and went to another Dennys and there the service was great, and the food was great, but stay away from the DENNYS ON OKLAND PARK BLVD AND POWER LINE (9TH AVE ) no way again will I step into that place.
Great service from Idalia! My friends and I came here late at night. Despite being understaffed, Idalia managed to be attentive to us. The food was good; exactly what you’d expect from a Denny’s.
Had a wonderful time at this location today. No wait, food came out fast and hot, and the service was incredible. Thank you, Jerrica, for making this visit exemplary!
Severely understaffed. No water or anybody taking our order for 15 mins. Once the coffee arrived, there were no napkins or spoons. Non-existent service. Don’t come to this location.
Messed up postmates delivery and only received half of what was ordered. Fish was extremely dry and vegetables not seasoned well.
Every time I come here it’s either they forgot something or today I ordered my food and pick it up 18 minutes later just to get here and they don’t have my order . They didn’t call me or anything . Put a 3 star cause the mod was nice.
After waiting 30 minutes for my food to come, I realized half of the restaurant who came in before me is also waiting. The family next to me sat with their menus for more than 10 minutes, finally just left. I’m still waiting. No wonder the parking lot is almost empty at 9:45pm Monday. I have eaten here once before and the experience was bad enough that I didn’t return until now. It’s very close to my house so I thought I would try again. Bad decision.
Listen no place else is open for food so I really don’t expect much, but whoever’s in the kitchen tonight killed that shit. This Nashville Hot chicken sandwich is the best thing I have ever eaten.
I mean seriously if I did a blind test to this food, i’d say this is some real family-owned shop that did some home cooking. Whoever’s in the kitchen needs a raise… best food
