Came here specifically to order micheladas and was not disappointed. We also ordered the nachos and shared amongst 3 people it was a lot of food. The nachos were super tasty and the chips and guacamole given when we sat down was also delicious. Definitely coming back here to try more food! Chips and Guacamole

They didn’t have my order right and a customer came back and return his food and they gave me his food. That’s was disgusting to me and I ask her to replaced it and she said no.

Pretty good birria tacos! Their burritos are also very tasty. The only that sucks is parking.

So good-authentic, fresh and delectable Mexican cuisine in the heart of The Mission.  Love the rustic and casual outdoor tented back patio.  Friendly and attentive staff!  A large variety of flavorful dishes.  We enjoyed all our bites and will be back-it is one of our go to places.

let me put you onto one of my FAVORITE mexican spots in sf so far!! with the sweetest workers, authentic dining experience, and spectacular food, you really won’t want to miss out:)

i originally found out about this place bc my boss DoorDashed these burritos for lunch one day and I quite literally FELL IN LOVEand i had to visit the store itself. they are also one of the few stores in SF that sell quesabirria tacos, so i definitely want to come back to give those a try.

the restaurant was so comforting and welcoming, and the staff even gave us complimentary avocado salsa which came in a stone mortar and fresh tortilla chips! they even have this adorable outdoor seating area in the back decorated with vibrant papel picado and wooden benches!

” flat top burrito with carne asada ($10.50) // this burrito is HEAVENLYwith a slight crisp on the exterior and gooey fillings of carne, beans, cheese, guac, pico de gallo, and guacamole sauce, this was SO good. i also really liked how this particular burrito had no rice, but some of the other burritos did if that’s your vibe:)

” regular tacos with pollo ($3.75 each)

I have had Chuy’s bookmarked for a long time and finally tried it a few nights ago and it was great!  The service was really great and so was the food.  Their back patio is really cute and enjoyable to dine on.  Their micheladas are huge and delicious – they have three options: one is regular sized and comes in a clay cup, one is large and comes in like this wooden barrel mug thing that was so fun and it’s garnished with a grilled shrimp! The other is also large, it’s served in a plastic quart container and it topped with a plastic half pint container filled with ceviche!  Definitely recommend those.  My partner got the last one and he said the ceviche was some of the best he’d had.

We started out with their three sopes appetizer. It comes with one chicken, one beef birria and one alpastor.  I highly recommend asking for all three to be the alpastor because that one blew the other two out of the water. We found the chicken and the birria to be a little under-seasoned.  The alpastor was so good that my partner ordered a taco with it afterwards and loved it.  I ordered the grilled shrimp taco (they also have a fried shrimp taco) and it was one of the best I have had.  It was huge as well.  10/10 would recommend.

The ONLY downside is that they close at 7pm
🙁 this means that we will rarely ever be able to go there as much as we wish we could go there all the time. By the time we both get off work on a weekday, we would barely have enough time to get there much less eat. Even if we could get there with enough time to eat before they close, I don’t usually like to eat dinner that early.  So it would have to be a weekend lunch spot…but we don’t usually eat lunch on the weekends 🙁

I hope we get to go back sometime!  Hopefully they will consider extending their hours.  Even if they closed at 8 PM it would be difficult for us, but if they did close at 8 PM we would probably go there once a week.

I came for the quesabirria, but would stay for the shrimp tacos! I ordered two quesabirria and one shrimp; they were all very filling. The meat in the quesabirria tacos was very tender. But, oh boy, the breading on the shrimp and the coleslaw surprised me – that shrimp taco was so good.  You also get chips and salsa with your order. The workers were friendly and accommodating, and the back patio is a nice and cozy space to enjoy your food with friends or family.

The food was really good and they didn’t kick us out at closing! We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and they continued letting people in until they closed. Very nice people, clean tables, and prices aren’t too bad.

Food was overall good. Greasy and lacking salt. Worth a try but would not come back due to the owner staring at me the whole time I waited for my food making me feel uncomfortable
