Always a nice experience. Delicious food, good wines and cocktails as well as a wonderful ambience with the art. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. We return whenever in the area.
Loved this place great specials menu and flavor is fantastic!
The service was ok!
The ambiance is perfect and very romantic
Great little spot with awesome service! I have been here a few times but today my office decided to place a take out order for lunch and I was reminded why this place is always worth coming back to. I had the salmon a la pera with mushroom risotto. Highly recommend!
Today our next food adventure dinner time we going to Cafe Catula located in Miami, this restaurant mixing two traditional cuisines, Spanish and Italian with a Latin touch in some of it’s desserts.
The decoration of the place is partly a gallery to exhibit sculptures created by the artist Uldis Lopez and paintings made by different painters such as Jose Chiu and Miguel Leiva, each work is striking in view of those who visit the place.
The customer service was fast and the food too, the taste of each dish was exquisite, we ordered chicken, fish and meat and each one of them was made by someone who is passionate about their profession.
The price of the food was a bit high but quality is priceless and at Cafe Catula they serve you quality.
Thanks to Chef Rogelio for that exquisite meal.
Yum yum yum!! Their steak with goat cheese and pepper is absolutely awesome. Never disappoints. Love this place. A little pricey but worth it!
Went here last Sunday with the family. We were seated promptly and parking was not an issue. First problem. We were seated under a dripping a/c vent which we noticed after being seated. We ordered from the miami spice menu which had plenty of choices. Appetizers were good . I ordered the duck breast and received a plate with the duck sliced which was a little misleading. Everybody enjoyed there meals but for the money we expected a little more. Also the wines were very expensive. I do expect a 200% increase but not $45 for a $12 bottle of wine. Just not worth the $45 miami spice menu. Service was also another issue. Plates were put on the wrong person every time. Waiters were chatting behind us while the food was ready to be served. Our bill was over $500 for 5. Many more choices in that price range.Need to be more professional for an “upscale” restaurant.
Amazing- the vibe is nice it is like a small gallery. Just don’t let them sit you in the corner of the room. Ask for main area. The food was exquisite and everything they brought us was great. We had the oysters fresh as well as Rockefeller. The lychee martini is awesome. Then we tried the Miami spice menu which included appetizers and dinner and dessert. Everything was great I had the beef carpaccio for appetizer and red snapper for main. Which I had to pack up as we made the mistake of ordering so many oysters. But everything was well worth it. The server was great she was on point and everyone was very attentive. Great place for date night and just a great dinner.
So we decided to try Cafe Catula again. We were celebrating our Anniversary. Service was nice, food was good…. although just a bit on the smaller side for the prices. We were so disappointed there was no Live Music–no Piano Player. Ambience was quiet and boring. We were five of us…. and we cramped into a small table, so we asked to be moved to a bigger table. I would say Overall, Good… but Not Quite Excellent. We are on the fence if we will be returning.
Food and service are amazing! Prices are competitive. El Salmón a La Pera y el Churrasco are great.
