Highly Recommend!
I love Teddys Red Tacos but these tacos have a more authentic and ranch taste. Whereas Teddys taste more like restaurant (if you know you know).
Rice could be a bit better and softerbut I came for the tacos. The Red Chile is full of flavor and just the right amount of spice!! They also came with a orange sauce and green sauce but didn’t taste it.
These are tasty and would definitely make the drive again from SCV.
honestly i had ordered delivery from this place and it wasn’t the best. i had ordered the birria nachos and they forgot the birria! was very disappointing and is definitely on the pricey side. i would be willing to give this place a second try but very a disappointing first impression.

This was our first time visiting Birria Los Socios after following them online for about a year now. Their Instagram is full of so much mouth watering content!! It all looked so good. We live in the West Hollywood area so it’s not a quick trip which is why we didn’t go sooner.
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a taco plate and the ramen. Very happy with the food. I think about it regularly. It’s not too salty and you can tell it’s very fresh.
My reason for three stars is because the service was very poor.
When we arrived we weren’t greeted or asked any questions at all. I said hello and the person looking at us just gave us a nod.. like “Sup” I had to ask a lot of questions and wads given yes or no answers. Disappointing.
He was looking to his left talking to who I assume would be kitchen staff and laughing. They were gossiping about something which is cool whatever.. but he was not even paying attention to us. We placed our order and when it arrived it was messed up. We were given something similar to what we ordered but not exact. He also forgot our drinks and salsa. This was upsetting because the food is good and customer service shouldn’t have been this poor.
I never really confuse anyone when placing my order and I speak very clearly and loud so this was absolutely a mistake on his part. There was no apology or even a thank you when leaving. It was just weird lol.
Will I be back? Probably… but I won’t drive out of my way again. If I happen to be in the area then yeah maybe.. other than that.. we’ll see.
Overall food was great. Service needs an exceptional amount of work.
Yummy!! Got the consome with meat, and queso Birria tacos! Also the sandia aguafresca is so refreshing !!
Prices are a bit much, food is good but not too impressive and also $17 for a ramen with nutria?? Really? Anyways bathrooms smell like death and not a sheet of toilet paper in sight. Drive from Arizona for this and I am saddened with the outcome. Many better spots for way way less all around
Drove all they way to this restaurant. Looking forward to it. Online hours of operation 1pm-8pm. It’s 6:04pm when I walked in and was greeted with we CLOSED. We close at 6pm? Common if that’s true I was four minutes and didn’t want to help. Forget this places
If you’re looking to satisfy your birria craving you should definitely come here because that’s what I do over and over again.
Seriously they have the best birria tacos I’ve tried. I’ve tried the quesatacos, soft tacos, and hard tacos- they’re all bomb! I always get beef it’s a personal preference but I’ve tried goat and it’s good too.
The condiments are always on point too- slices of lime are always juicy, onions, and cilantro are always fresh. The salsas have so much flavor and if you like spicy definitely get the habanero salsa! I’ve been to places where the limes are dry and the salsas lack spice/flavor which ruins everything for me but this has never been an issue here.
The consome even without meat has so much flavor. The aguas are delicious!!! Even the candy is delicious. Omg I could go on and on. You really need to come here to see what I mean.
If price is a concern they have good deals throughout the week! I always check their IG. Definitely give it a try you’ll probably keep coming back like I do. Everyone I recommend this place to thanks me. Lol.
Birria Los Socios does their thing and they do it right every time. Love this place, the staff is also very friendly! P.S if you’re paying with card make sure to bring ID
