This was such a wonderful stop to make! We were leaving a nearby business after having a drink and I was feeling munchy. This cafe was but a few feet away that I had bookmarked from where we were.
I got their Beef and Lamb Kebab. This was made up of shredded beef and lamb with a wonderful tomato type sauce along with yogurt. This dish simply blew me away. Everything was homemade and the yogurt that came with my dish was simply out of this world.
Steve then started getting hungry and ordered a bowl of soup and some baklava. His soup was absolutely wonderful and the baklava that we shared was outstanding with it’s balanced sweetness and flaky crust.
I could go on and on with many much more praise but it’s something you should just experience yourself on what wonderful food that this little cafe generates.
I like this place. I am not often in Kirkland, but if I want some good quality Turkish coffee this is a place I go, especially at nice day sitting outside. They also have super tasty deserts. Always hard decision what to buy-))) The owner is very friendly, and polite. His wife also makes super cool tea, I used to buy a couple times “to go”. Please support those hard working people! They deserve it!
Lovely hole in the wall cafe run by an adorable couple serving delicious food. We had the Iskender, lamb and Chicken Donner followed by the home made pistachio baklava. The baklava was just sinfully delicious
Had a hearty meal here. I got the chicken döner plate with yogurt. The plate included bulgur (i substituted instead of rice), salad, tzatziki along with a generous portion of chicken. The chicken still held it’s juiciness which is rare to see in chicken shawarma served at other places. The yogurt came in a pretty looking cup and was pretty fresh. The owner was super friendly. Hope more people come to this place and support this local business!
Best restaurant in Kirkland. Always delicious and never disappoints. Owner is very nice as well.
I live in Bellevue and this is one of my favorite restaurants in the Seattle area. Amazing kebab and rice, friendly staff, and solid location in the kirkland waterfront.
We got 2 pastries which were tasty but very oily. Food was ok and service was quick but curt.

It’s a small unassuming place but the food is homemade and absolutely delicious. The prices are fair and the food authentic. What more could you ask?
