This place is amazing. They have two turning towers of meat (one sirloin, one pastor) and you can’t go wrong with either option. Both were juicy and tender. Parts of the sirloin were medium rare and the pineapple accents the pastor perfectly. My partner and I both ordered a 5 taco plate but I could have easily eaten 5 more! There was a constant flow of people arriving and leaving the restaurant but the wait was manageable. Seating is outside and parking is plenty.
Absolutely horrible music, loud enough to make you want to rip both ears off!, Wait time for two simple orders was about 45 – 1 hr, the taco size is extremely small, almost the size of a lemon, taste is the absolute worst I’ve had in 10 years! If there was a s*** list, congratulations this place wins it hands down
This is my first time visiting the place. It gives a vibe of a place to hang out and enjoy great food. There is very limited seating inside the location due to Covid, but there is seating outside. You can also use the hood of eat your tacos. The tortillas are freshly made in store, and you will love them. I would revisit this place to try more menu items. I recommend this good tacos that your palate will enjoy. One more thing, you are able to call ahead or place your order online.
Food was extremely savory and fresh! Our family’s order included 2 orders of Tacos al pastor with pineapple, 1 order of Sirloin Tacos and an order of Alambre Fit which came with Pastor, chuleta, sirloin, poblano peppers, bacon, grilled onions and cheese. All of the tacos were packed with meat and tortillas were perfect. “Double corn!” 😱 So, two tortillas per taco. I loved that they weren’t thick, but just perfect consistency with the tortillas. All in all, tacos were the best we’ve ever had, bar none. I wish their indoor seating was better, but it doesn’t take away from their tacos.
The best al pastor I’ve had in San Antonio so far. Limited seating, but probably better to get it to go anyway.
They were SO good! There isn’t much meat in the tacos so I recommend the 10count. I will definitely be going back.
Is it still considered hype if it’s 100% true? This place lives up to the expectation, for sure. My only complaint… I only grabbed a 10 pack… Should have gotten 15 at least. 247/10 will be back. 🤤🤤🤤
Wow. Just wow.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and I finally made it out here. I like their menu concept of separating items between sirloin and pastor. They offer a good selection of items like volcanes, gringas, tortas and of course, tacos.
Yup, this is it! Had to drive 4 hours to get here but finally found authentic tacos al pastor in Texas. They have the right taste, smell, color, taste, size, etc. I only tried the pastor so not able to give an opinion about the rest but I’m going to guess the rest of the menu is also good. It’s a friday evening and they’ve had a pretty good crowd. Besides the plastic cup for the sauce, everything else is paper so they get extra credit for not using styrofoam or plastic. Their lime is freshly cut and juicy. The onion and cilantro chopped the right way. Overall pretty good tacos al pastor so definitely plan to come back every time I’m in San Antonio.
